Three very promising 2-year-olds by Extreme Choice, Home Affairs and Bivouac take their place at Group level across Rosehill ad Caulfield on Saturday.

Hidrix, 2-year-old colt (Extreme Choice x Shadow {Medaglia D’Oro {USA}})
The very promising Hidrix (Extreme Choice) makes his debut at Group level on Saturday for trailer Chris Waller.
He has shown good ability at the trials after being ridden quietly, and in the hands of Zac Lloyd, he looks an each-way chance from the ace barrier.

Hidrix is out of the unraced Medaglia D’Oro (USA) mare Shadow, making him a full sister to the outstanding Apocalyptic (Extreme Choice), who won the G1 Flight Stakes and also another two Group 3 races during her 3-year-old season, that record could be further enhanced during the autumn.
Hidrix’s third dam was the flying machine Virage De Fortune (Anabaa {USA}), who was an eight-time winner up to 1400 metres, including twice at Group 1 level.
Shadow last spring produced a Pierro filly, and was subsequently served by Extreme Choice.
Hidrix was purchased by Chris Waller Racing, Mulcaster B/stock and B2B Thoroughbreds for $1.7 million from the Coolmore draft at the 2025 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Miss Scandal (NZ), 2-year-old filly (Home Affairs x Kylie’s Fame {More Than Ready {USA}})
The exciting Miss Scandal (NZ) (Home Affairs) makes her debut in the G3 Widden Stakes for trainer Chris Waller on Saturday.
She has run two nice placings this month at the Rosehill trials, and while she is in a strong race, she looks a good each-way chance in the hands of Champion jockey James McDonald.
She is out of the four-time winner Kylie’s Fame (More Than Ready), who is half-sister to Madeenaty (Exceed And Excel) who was a sharp 2-year-old winning the R. Listed Wyong Magic Millions Classic and the Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes.

Kylie’s Fame’s dam Set For Fame (Reset) was also smart winning the G2 Dane Ripper Stakes, G2 Caulfield Sprint Handicap, G2 Angus Armanasco Stakes and the Listed Kevin Hayes Stakes.
Kylie’s Fame, in recent years has left a yearling filly by Tarzino (NZ), a colt foal by Tarzino, and was served by Hawaii Five Oh last spring.
Miss Scandal was purchased for NZ$320,000 by Mulcaster Bloodstock Ltd and Chris Waller Racing from the Westbury Stud draft at the 2025 2025 New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale.

Big Sky, 2-year-old colt (Bivouac x Zoom By {Red Dazzler})
The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Big Sky (Bivouac) makes his second start at Caulfield at Group 3 level on Saturday, after impressing down the famous Flemington straight on debut on January 17, when winning by just under three lengths from Mirador (Brazen Beau).
Big Sky is the third live-foal out of the four-time winner Zoom By (Red Dazzler), a half-sister to the Listed winner Firenza (Kenny’s Best Pal).

This is also the extended family of the group winners Written Beauty (Written Tycoon), Immortal Love (Snitzel), Hi World (High Chaparral {Ire}), and Kiwia (Reset).
Zoom By, in recent years has produced a yearling filly by Spirit Of Boom, a colt foal by Spirit Of Boom, and she was served by Anamoe last spring.
Zoom By was purchased for $140,000 by Mick Price Racing & Breeding from the Eureka Stud draft at the 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
