The catalogue for the 2026 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale was released on 16 November 2025. Since that time, a number of yearlings set to pass through the ring at Inglis Riverside have had their pedigrees enhanced, an important consideration for both vendors and buyers alike.
Lot 373 – Russian Revolution x Runway Star (Northern Meteor), colt – on account of Vinery Stud
The Russian Revolution colt offered by Vinery Stud is the fifth living-foal out of the G3 Proud Miss Stakes, and the two-time Listed Matrice Stakes winner Runway Star (Northern Meteor).
She has left two winners Brave One (Exceedance) and Resilient Star (More Than Ready {USA}). Since the catalogue went to print, the Michael, Wayne and John Hawkes-trained Brave One has added to his record, now being a four-time winner with a win at Newcastle and importantly for his dam, running second in the Listed Razor Sharp Handicap at Randwick behind Weeping Woman (Lonhro).

That extra form only adds to what is already a very strong black-type family, this colt's grandam Intuit (Commands) was Listed-placed and, as well as leaving Runway Star to score stakes success, has left the Listed winner What You Need (Supido).
This is the extended family of the Champion 2-year-old filly and dual Group 1 winner Fashions Afield (Redoute's Choice), the Group 1-winning sprinter Wrap Around (Bletchingly) and the young Group 2-winning stallion Kiss And Make Up.
Lot 287 – Brave Smash (Jpn) x Parraay (Excites), filly – on account of HP Thoroughbreds
HP Thoroughbreds' Brave Smash (Jpn) filly is the fifth foal out of the five-time winner Parraay (Excites), a proven and consistent producer, Parraay has three foals to race, all of them being winners.
Her standout performer to date is the six-time Hong Kong winner Wardaddy – Dancing Code (HK) (Panzer Division), who has further added valuable black-type to the family since the catalogue was printed, finishing second in the G3 Chinese Club Challenge Cup.

Parraay is also the dam of Tasorray, a gelding by Tassort, who has become a metropolitan winner at Canterbury, and now boasts three wins to his name for trainer Kris Lees.
This filly comes from a prolific winning family, with her grandam Hilldale (Beautiful Crown {USA}) producing six named foals, all of them winners, including the three-time winner Raay Of Dreams (Dream Ahead {USA}).
Lot 641 – In The Congo x Artistic Lass (Myboycharlie {Ire}), colt – on account of Vinery Stud
Vinery Stud's In The Congo colt is the sixth foal out of the five-time winning Myboycharlie (Ire) mare Artistic Lass, who also finished fourth in the Listed Fernhill Handicap. A proven producer, Artistic Lass has left four winners from her four foals to race.
Among them is the classy 2-year-old Lara Antipova (Russian Revolution), who has been a dual winner for trainers Mark Walker and Sam Bergerson since the catalogue went to print. Her victories include an impressive eight-length win at Te Aroha in New Zealand, followed by a dominant four-and-a-half-length success in the G2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes at Trentham.

Artistic Lass is exceptionally well-related, being a half-sister to dual Group winner and Group 1-placed sprinter Sistine Angel (Testa Rossa), Group 3 and Listed winner Sistine Demon (Excites), and the Group-placed duo Themoonlightgambler (Good Journey {USA}) and Scully (Shooting To Win).
By Newgate Farm's exciting first-season sire In The Congo, who enjoyed a strong Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, this colt’s status as a half-brother to a juvenile Group 2 winner only further enhances his appeal.
