The catalogue for the 2026 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale was released on 16 November 2025. Since that time, a number of yearlings set to pass through the ring at Inglis Riverside have had their pedigrees enhanced, an important consideration for both vendors and buyers alike.
Lot 462 – Harry Angel (Ire) x Sretan (Bernardini {USA}), colt – on account of Kirks Bridge Farm
This Harry Angel (Ire) colt offered by Kirks Bridge Farm has received a significant pedigree update with his half-brother Stretan Ruler (Wild Ruler) finishing second on debut in the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes at Caulfield for trainer Phillip Stokes back in late November.
That performance saw Stretan Ruler become the second stakes performer for his dam Sretan (Bernardini {USA}), who had already produced the highly talented Stretan Angel (Harry Angel {Ire}). Stretan Angel in her career has already won at Group 2 and Listed level, and has shown her class by finishing in the top four at Group 1 level on five seperate occasions.

Stretan Ruler now has the opportunity to further enhance this quality page when he lines up in the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) this weekend at Caulfield, with Lachlan Neindorf in the saddle.
This is a pedigree very much on the rise, with additional stakes winners in the extended family including Alegron (Teofilo {Ire}), Pure Joy (Fusaichi Pegasus {USA}) and Fravashi (Ire) also featuring.
As a full brother to a Group 2 winner and Group 1 performer, and a half-brother to a 2-year-old stakes performer on debut, this colt is sure to attract strong interest.
Lot 513 – St Mark’s Basilica (Fr) x Think Like A Bird (So You Think {NZ}), filly – on account of Berkeley Park Stud
Berkeley Park Stud’s St Mark’s Basilica (Fr) filly hails from an active and high-performing family. Her half-sister Bird Whistle (Brutal {NZ}) placed in the G3 Spring Stakes just as the catalogue was going to print, providing an immediate update.
More recently, her dam Think Like A Bird’s (So You Think {NZ}) G1 Caulfield Cup-winning half-sister Southern Speed (Southern Image {USA}) has continued to enhance her already impressive breeding record in Japan.

Among her notable progeny is Cosmo Kuranda (Jpn) (Al Ain {Jpn}), a top-class Japanese performer who is a Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed, and who has since added another Group 1 placing in the G1 Nakayama Arima Kinen.
Another recent update comes via another relation, the Group 3-placed Schism (Reann), who has produced the 3-year-old filly Raskol (Russian Revolution), she recorded a metropolitan win at Canterbury on New Year’s Day.
There is genuine depth throughout this pedigree, with other high-quality performers including G1 Champagne Stakes winner Go Indy Go (Bernardini {USA}), along with Group 3 winners Essay Raider (Bernardini {USA}) and Air Assault (Justify {USA}).
Lot 695 – Spirit Of Boom x Can’t Find Snippy (Snippetson), filly – on account of Murrulla Stud
This well-bred filly has received a valuable two-fold update through closely related juveniles. Since the catalogue went to print, her dam Can’t Find Snippy (Snippetson) has produced a stakes-performed juvenile this season in Elusive Capital (Capitalist). She debuted with a third placing on the Sunshine Coast in November before backing that up with another third in the Listed Phelan Ready Stakes in December, finishing behind the classy Itchintogo (Sun City).

Further black-type strength has come via Can’t Find Snippy’s half-sister Where’s The Circus (Trapeze Artist), who delivered a lucrative update on debut. Trained by Paul Murray, Where’s The Circus won the R. Listed Inglis Nursery by over a length.
Having earned more than $230,000 in prize money from just one start, the filly is set to line up in the $2 million R. Listed Inglis Millennium this Saturday, with the potential to add another significant update ahead of the sale.
