The catalogue for the 2026 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale was released on 16 November 2025. Since that time, a number of yearlings set to pass through the ring at Inglis Riverside have had their pedigrees enhanced, an important consideration for both vendors and buyers alike.

Lot 52 – Cool Aza Beel (NZ) x Hades (Encosta De Lago), colt – on account of Newhaven Park

This Cool Aza Beel (NZ) colt offered by Newhaven Park has received several updates since the catalogue went to print.

The most significant update comes from his half-sister Mintha (Redoute’s Choice), who was Group-placed on the track, following the handy Tasmanian 2-year-old Momentslikethese (Tiger Of Malay), who has placed in all three of her career starts for trainer Stuart Gandy, including picking up black-type in the Listed Elwick Stakes at her last start.

Another half-brother to this colt’s dam, Barrelling (Toronado {Ire}), has won a further two metropolitan races since the catalogue was published, while another relative, the talented New Zealand-based Cool Aza Renee (Cool Aza Beel {NZ}), ran a Listed placing in the Otago Breeders’ Stakes, adding to her already handy record.

It’s a family with plenty of depth that continues to strengthen, and Newhaven Park have a well-bred colt by their resident stallion Cool Aza Beel that is sure to feature on many buyers’ lists.

Lot 614 – Dundeel (NZ) x Advance Party (Charge Forward), filly – on account of Yarraman Park Stud

A filly with a significant metropolitan winner update and the potential to shine on a big Saturday at Randwick is Lot 614 – the Dundeel (NZ) filly out of Advance Party (Charge Forward) offered by Yarraman Park Stud.

In late November, Advance Party’s son Fireball (Snitzel), himself a $460,000 graduate of the 2025 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, made an impact at Rosehill, defeating the talented Tigroni (Tiger Of Malay) on debut in impressive style.

He now lines up as the early favourite for the $2 million R. Listed Inglis Millennium for 2-year-olds at Randwick on Saturday, and a strong performance could provide this Dundeel filly with a huge black-type boost. Yarraman Park and all connections will be watching with interest.

The family is relatively quiet on the black-type front in the immediate generation, but further back features the smart stakes-winning sprinter I Have No Fear (Rock Of Gibraltar {Ire}) and her Group 2-winning dam, Countess Christie (Marscay).

Lot 667 – Supido x Benella (Not A Single Doubt), filly – on account of North Bloodstock

Families don’t come much hotter than the one Lot 667 – the Supido filly out of Benella (Not A Single Doubt) - belongs to. She received a significant update last month when her dam Benella’s half-sister, En Aval (Toorak Toff), produced the R. Listed Magic Millions 2YO winner Unit Five (Supido) for trainer Ciaron Maher.

The update is even more notable as this filly is also by Supido, making her a very close relation to the unbeaten 2-year-old who now has his sights on the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes.

Further updates include a close relation, Confederation (Wootton Bassett {GB}), running second on debut in the G3 Canonbury Stakes, and the classy My Gladiola (I Am Invincible) adding another Group 3 placing to her already very impressive record.

With plenty of residual value and a family currently on the rise, it would be no surprise to see plenty of buyers taking a close look at this filly.
