Favourite moment - racing, sales or breeding related for 2025 (or early 2026)?
Sales related it would have to be the $2 million sale of I Am Me at the Chairman's Sale to Arrowfield Stud, that was such a surreal moment. Whilst 2026 on the track started off in perfect fashion with Axius winning the $1 million (Magic Millions) Snippets.
If you could be someone in the industry for a day, who would it be and why?
Colm Santry - He’s one of the greatest salesmen I’ve ever encountered. I’m sure I would learn plenty and quickly.

Who was the first horse that played a role in you being hooked to the sport?
My pony ‘Jam Roll,’ he used to be stabled at the back of Lindsay Murphy’s (ex ATC racecourse manager) house on course at Canterbury Park. Every Sunday, Dad used to take me to the track to ride my pony, I was so sure I was going to be a jockey.
Who is your favourite broodmare sire?
More Than Ready – his stats are elite and he mixes so well with Danehill-lined mares.

Do you have any raceday superstitions?
I’ve got a couple of lucky ties that I like to wear.
Name an emerging talent in the industry, and say why?
Johann Gerard-Dubord. He’s an incredibly talented horseman, he comes from a racing and breeding family in France and has spent a lot of time in Europe, America and Australia honing his skills. He’s good with horses and better with people, we’re fortunate to work very closely with him on a day to day basis.
