Favourite moment - racing, sales or breeding related for 2025 (or early 2026)?
Cool Archie winning five straight during the winter in Brisbane including the Group 1 JJ Atkins, Patriot Bloodstock purchased his full-sister at Magic Millions 2025 when he was still a maiden, that winning streak certainly give us some excitement about our filly who is still unraced.

If you could be someone in the industry for a day. Who would it be and why?
Any jockey just to get the opportunity to ride a winner. I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie and like anything that goes fast, it would be very cool to ride a winner anywhere.
Who was the first horse that played a role in you being hooked to the sport?
When my grandparents first took me to the races my uncle owned a horse called Proud Reserve, he was a very good bush horse and first sparked my interest in racing, a few years after that Octagonal really cemented it.
Who is your favourite broodmare sire?
None in particular, I like young mares when looking at yearlings, something I learned of a mentor of mine, but no specific broodmare sires.
What racing book would you recommend?
London To A Brick On by Steve Cairns, a book about the history of race callers in Australia.

What is your favourite track to attend the races?
Would have to say Gundagai, where I grew up for Snake Gully Cup day in November.

Do you have any raceday superstitions?
Not really, I always like to see some money for the Patriot horses, hate when they drift in betting often doesn’t end well.
Name an emerging talent in the industry, and say why?
I met a young kid a few weeks back named Vini Donnelly who has just started his path as a race caller, he’s 15 and calls very well, I expect if he sticks at it and hone his skills he’ll make it.
If you had to pick one horse that you think is most likely to win the 2026 G1 Golden Slipper who is it?
Wolf Gap was very impressive at Warwick Farm recently, think he’ll run in the Todman and should be very hard to beat, no one is really talking about him for the Slipper at the moment, but he might come into the picture late.

What is your favourite sport and team that you follow?
Rugby League and the West Tigers.
