Favourite moment - racing, sales or breeding related for 2025 (or early 2026)?

Hopefully it is still to come this year. We purchased a Winning Rupert filly from the 2025 March Sale who is a half to Estrondo, who we race and she is showing good promise.

If you could be someone in the industry for a day. Who would it be and why?

A bookmaker on a winning day! Could do with a good holiday. Or it would be awesome to spend a day in the life of a busy trainer, as they have to wear so many hats.

Who was the first horse that played a role in you being hooked to the sport?

Octagonal was the first that really got me hooked.

Who is your favourite broodmare sire?

Don’t have any favourites as such, but we do place as much emphasis on broodmare sires as we do stallions when selecting yearlings.

What racing book would you recommend?

We enjoy reading Bluebloods Magazine to help us keep up with all the latest breeding stats.

What is your favourite track to attend the races?

I do love a relaxing day at the country races. The Sunshine Coast is a very underrated racecourse, but we love our horses running at Eagle Farm and Doomben.

Do you have any raceday superstitions?

Not really, but do love a free beer in the winners' circle.

Name an emerging talent within the stable?

Point Vega. He’s a young, immature Lucky Vega gelding who has won his first two starts for our team, and we think he could be a handy galloper in the future.

If you had to pick one horse that you think is most likely to win the 2026 G1 Golden Slipper who is it?

Chayan.

What is your favourite sport and team that you follow?

Outside of racing, I'm a fan of Rugby League and have been a staunch Brisbane Broncos fan since 1988.
