In A Tizzy, 3-year-old filly (Zoustar x Missy Cummings {Magnus})
The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Zoustar filly, In A Tizzy will make her second start at Hawkesbury on Tuesday over 1300 metres.
The Dorrington Farm-bred and raced filly ran a solid enough fifth on debut at Rosehill behind Bubbles Up (Churchill {Ire}) in late February, and looks well placed dropping back to this quality of maiden.
Zoustar | Standing at Widden Stud
This well-bred filly is out of Missy Cummings (Magnus) who was a Listed winner, but has gone on to excel as a broodmare leaving three winners, including the G1 Canterbury Stakes winner Mizzy (Zoustar) and the Group 3 and Listed winner She’s Got Pizzazz (Zoustar).
In A Tizzy’s grandam Lady Knockout (Serheed {USA}) and great-grandam Prime Again (Marooned {GB}) were also stakes winners.
Missy Cummings, in recent times, has left a 2-year-old gelding named Piazza (So You Think {NZ}), a filly foal by Ozzmosis, and was served by Growing Empire last spring.
In A Tizzy was withdrawn from the 2024 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Hawkesbury, Race 6, 4.55pm AEDT, happy Birthday Ali Arndt Maiden Plate, $42,000, 1800m
So D’Oro, 3-year-old filly (So You Think {NZ}) x Ragazza D’Oro (Ire) {Dalakhani {Ire}})
The John O’Shea and Tom Charlton-trained So D’Oro (So You Think {NZ}) looks very hard to beat at Hawkesbury on Tuesday over 1800 metres.
The promising staying filly ran a great race for a second behind the promising Mountain Queen (Fierce Impact {Jpn}) at Wyong last start over 1600 metres late last month. The step up to 1800 metres on Tuesday looks ideal on that run, and her pedigree suggests she will appreciate it.

So D’Oro is out of the French 2400-metre winner Ragazza D’Oro (Ire) (Dalakhani {Ire}), and is a half-sister to the three-time winner Ragman (Lawman {Fr]).
This is the extended family of the Italian Champion 3-year-old Lune D’Or (Fr) (Green Tune {USA}), and her four-time Group 1-winning son and stallion in Fierement (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}).
Sadly So D’Oro was Ragazza D’Oro’s last foal as she died in 2023, So D’Oro is the only filly that she produced.

So Enchanting (So You Think {NZ}) - Was a dominant winner at Swan Hill on Sunday. She's a well-bred filly and should only improve with more time and distance.
Subsiding (Harry Angel {Ire}) - Was scratched from her race at Grafton, she will keep for another day.
