Extremely Tempted dazzles in sharp Randwick trial
Extremely Tempted (Extreme Choice) produced what was arguably the most visually impressive performance of the session at Randwick, scoring stylishly by just over two and a half lengths over 740 metres in a 2-year-old heat under Regan Bayliss.
Extremely Tempted and Global Goal (Pinatubo {Ire}) shared the lead out wide and ran along at a solid clip before the daughter of Extreme Choice, in the in-form Kia Ora Stud colours, kicked clear at the 250-metre mark. She let down with purpose to defeat the brave Global Goal, with the Michael Freedman-trained Honeysuckle (The Autumn Sun) an eye-catcher, finished stylishly down the outside to take third a further two lengths behind the runner-up.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained 2-year-old had already shown ability in her first trial a couple of weeks ago when finishing second behind the $2.8 million colt and subsequent next-start metropolitan winner The Next Episode (Snitzel).
Extremely Tempted is out of the classy Group 3 winner Tempt Me Not (Strategic Maneuver), and is from the family of the dual Group 1 winner Tempest Morn (Thunder Gulch {USA}) and the Group 2-winning juvenile Good Standing (Artie Schiller {USA}).

Tempt Me Not, in recent years, has produced a yearling colt by Extreme Choice who is heading to the 2026 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale as Lot 142 from the draft of Newgate Farm, she has then missed to the same stallion the last two seasons.
Extremely Tempted was purchased by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Kestrel Thoroughbreds and Kia Ora Stud for $550,000 from the 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Miss Roumbini warms up in stylish fashion
The classy Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Miss Roumbini (Zoustar) indicated she is ready for an Autumn campaign with a neat trial victory over 1050 metres.
She jumped quickly in the hands of Dylan Gibbons and led early, before Stay Focused (Cosmic Force), wearing the Bennett Racing colours, took over and set a quick enough tempo for Adam Farragher.

The G1 New Zealand Oaks winner Ohope Wins (NZ) (Ocean Park {NZ}) settled last under James McDonald in her first public hit-out for new trainer Chris Waller.
Oso Spirited (NZ) (Charm Spirit {Ire}) took the lead after straightening, but at the 200-metre mark Miss Roumbini smartly appeared after checking behind heels and ran on strongly to score from Oso Spirited, with La Nina (Snitzel) producing a solid run in third. The star Kiwi filly Ohope Wins was very strong late through the line to finish sixth in a pleasing tick-over trial.
Miss Roumbini is still chasing her first stakes win, although she has been multiple times Group-placed, including in the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes, on her record she also has the lucrative Magic Millions Fillies and Mares race on the Gold Coast.

She is one of three winners out of her Group 3-winning dam Bleu Noche (Fastnet Rock), who in recent years has produced a yearling filly by Alabama Express and was served by Growing Empire last spring.
Blue-blood Tenenbaum wins impressively
Demon (Fastnet Rock) jumped extremely quickly in the hands of Adam Hyeronimus and set a strong tempo in Heat 7 over 1050 metres, with his stablemate Yes He Reigns (Yes Yes Yes) settling behind him.
The 2-year-old Tenenbaum (Snitzel), settled nicely in fourth, one-off the fence, competing against the older horses.

Demon was pushed along strongly in front and, as the pressure lifted, Tenenbaum was asked to improve. The colt responded well, stretching out strongly to score by just under half a length from Demon. Graffiti Tycoon (Written Tycoon), wearing the Go Racing colours for trainers John O’Shea and Tom Charlton, was a notable black-booker, attacking the line with purpose in third just behind the runner-up.
Tenenbaum is the sixth foal out of Listed winner C’Est Beau La Vie (Bernardini {USA}), who has already excelled as a broodmare, producing Cap Ferrat (Snitzel) - in addition to his Hong Kong Derby success he was a three-time Group 1-placegetter in Australia and Hong Kong, and a $1.4 million Inglis Easter graduate.

It is a pedigree steeped in elite staying and classic talent. C’Est Beau La Vie is a half-sister to two stakes winners, while her dam Valkyrie Diva (Jade Robbery {USA}) was a Group 3 winner and notably a half-sister to the legendary late Makybe Diva (GB) (Desert King {Ire}), the seven-time Group 1 winner and triple Melbourne Cup heroine.
C’Est Beau La Vie has continued to produce quality stock, with a Snitzel yearling colt, a foal colt by Dundeel (NZ), and she was subsequently served by Anamoe last spring.
Tenenbaum himself was a $750,000 purchase by Mulberry Racing from the Arrowfield Stud draft at last year’s Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
Spirit Of Wealth repels Lady Of Camelot
There was plenty of early pressure in Heat 8 over 740 metres as the John Sargent-trained Nullarbor Jane (Too Darn Hot {GB}) led nearer the rail while Spirit Of Wealth (Capitalist), posted wide, shared the pace-making duties. The classy Lady Of Camelot (Written Tycoon) travelled comfortably in third position out wide in the hands of Tim Clark.
The trio fanned across the track on straightening, but it was Spirit Of Wealth under Tommy Berry who finished best to score by just under a length from Lady Of Camelot, who was given a quiet trial without being pressured. Nullarbor Jane battled on gamely on the inside after doing plenty of work early.

The quality ex-Western Australian Jokers Grin (Maschino) was given a quiet trial but found the line well under minimal urging to finish fifth under James McDonald.
While only runner-up, much of the attention was on the 2024 G1 Golden Slipper winner Lady Of Camelot, and co-trainer Adrian Bott indicated the filly was likely to resume next month before possible international targets.
“I'd say we will look at a fillies and mares race for her at the back end of the Sydney autumn carnival and possibly even a race in Brisbane before she goes to England,” Bott said.
Tentyris’s half-sister impresses
The 2-year-old half-sister to star 3-year-old sprinter Tentyris (Street Boss {USA}), Parcae (Blue Point {Ire}), was a tidy winner of Heat 10 over 740 metres for trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman.
Parcae began well and travelled in about third position out wide on the pace under Tim Clark, while Harry Lime (Stay Inside) and Beyond The Reef (Flying Artie) shared the early speed.

Parcae loomed up strongly on the outside before putting the heat away late to defeat Beyond The Reef narrowly but impressively, with Harry Lime battling on for third.
A homebred for Godolphin, Parcae is the third foal of the Exceed And Excel mare Deity, who won three races. Her first foal Dios (Lonhro) has won twice, while her second foal is the dual Group 1-winning colt Tentyris. Deity produced a filly by Anamoe last spring and was subsequently served by Too Darn Hot (GB).

Deity is a half-sister to Listed winner Maternal (Street Cry {Ire}) and stakes-placed La Pieta (Redoute’s Choice). Four-time Group 1 winner Divine Madonna (Hurricane Sky) is the dam of Deity, and the family also includes Group 1 winners Baraqiel (Snitzel) and Autumn Angel (The Autumn Sun).
