Irreverent, 3-year-old filly (I Am Invincible x Flippant {Hinchinbrook})
The beautifully-bred Irreverent (I Am Invincible) looks a great chance at Yarra Valley on Tuesday for trainers Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman.
She brings rock solid form to this event having placed in five of her six starts, including a very good second at Pakenham behind Labelmaker (Snitzel) at her last start.
Irreverent is out of the classy Flippant (Hinchinbrook) who was a winner at Group 3 level, and Listed level three times. Flippant is also a three-quarter-sister to the seven-time winner I Am Excited (Snitzel), her career highlight was winning the G1 Galaxy Handicap.

This is also the extended family of the Group 1 winners Atlantic Jewel (Danehill {USA}), Russian Emperor (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), and Commanding Jewel (Commands).
Flippant, in recent times, has left a yearling colt by I Am Invincible, a filly foal by Hellbent, and was served most recently by Hellbent again last November.
Irreverent was purchased by the TFI/Kia Ora Joint Venture for $750,000 from the Yarraman Park Stud at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Boa Vista, 3-year-old filly (Snitzel x Serena Bay {Sebring})
The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Boa Vista (Snitzel) resumes on Tuesday at Yarra Valley as a 3-year-old after having a long break.
She was last seen running seventh in the G3 Breeders’ Stakes at Morphettville behind Legacy Bound (Ole Kirk) in April last year. Previous to that she picked up valuable black-type when running second in the Listed Dequetteville Stakes.
Boa Vista is out of the classy juvenile Serena Bay (Sebring), she was a three-time winner as a 2-year-old and placed in the G2 Percy Sykes Stakes. She has already done a great job leaving three winners including the stakes winner West Of Africa (Not A Single Doubt) and the stakes-placed Summer Loving (Exceed And Excel).

She was then re-offered through the Newgate Farm draft at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and was purchased by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) for $1,250,000.

More Bliss (Ghaiyyath {Ire}) - Ran a solid second at Matamata, a step up in distance will suit this filly.
Set Me Free (Shamus Award) - Ran a nice second on debut at Geelong, she will improve off that tidy effort.
