Corumbene spring for sale topper Flying Fizz
Five-year-old Street Boss (USA) mare Flying Fizz topped the Inglis Digital April Early Sale when selling for $175,000 to the bid of Corumbene Stud. She was offered by trainer Matthew Williams on behalf of her ownership group.
“If we’d got half that, we’d have thought it was a great result,’’ Williams said. “We’ve been using Inglis Digital for years, we sold Literary Magnate for over $500,000 a couple of years ago, we’ve sold other mares too and we’ve found the platform terrific. Even the horses that don’t have that sort of higher value you can get really good results with.’’

“She’s our first ever purchase online but after today’s experience, I can see why Inglis Digital is getting bigger and bigger and everyone raves about it,’’ said Corumbene's Tommy Altomonte. “I did the bidding myself and it was fantastic, the layout of the site was so clear and made it so easy to bid and buy.
“Our new stud manager Tyler Frazer, who only started a few weeks ago, sent me the link to Flying Fizz three or four days ago and we did some research and everything with her scored really well on our end and how we like to breed, that whole sire line and she’s from a good family so we thought ‘let’s have a crack’ and we did.''

The daughter of multiple Group-performed Flying Tessie (Testa Rossa), Flying Fizz has won three of her starts to date and was second in the Listed Twilight Glow Stakes to the spring’s G2 Rose of Kingston Stakes winner Miraval Rose (Grunt {NZ}).She is also a full sister to multiple stakes performer Renouf, who was last served by Capitalist in 2025 after slipping to Russian Revolution in her first season at stud.
High interest in shares in Satirically
Three 2.5% shares in last start winner Satirically (Snitzel) were offered in this week’s Inglis Digital auction, and each were purchased for $11,000, giving him an estimated value of $440,000. The purchasers were J Quinlan and Pure Bred Thoroughbred Breeding And Racing.

Satirically has now had three starts for two wins and a third placing, all at midweek metropolitan level for trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. He is the first foal to race out of dual Group winner Paradee (Epaulette), who has a yearling full sister and a weanling colt by Zoustar still to come. Satirically has accepted for the Listed Mornington Guineas on Saturday.
The Autumn Sun pregnancy is a Titanic investment
Brulee (Hinchinbrook), a half-sister to Group 3 winners Ducasse (Trapeze Artist) and Serene Majesty (Fastnet Rock) and Listed winner Curdled (All Too Hard), proved the most popular broodmare in the sale when selling to Titanic Park for $100,000. No doubt part of the appeal to her was a pregnancy by The Autumn Sun, with a due date in late September.
Titanic Park's Matthew Joy has had success in the past buying mares in foal on the platform and selling the weanlings the following year.
“(Inglis Bloodstock Sales Manager) Will Stott has been a great help with these mares, he’s such a great guy and I love dealing with him," he said.

Dam Custard (Lonhro) has produced six stakes winners to date, including Brulee herself who twice performed at Listed level, and Serene Majesty has produced two stakes performers amongst her three winners on the track. The close family also features G2 Brisbane Cup winner Alegron (Teofilo {Ire}) and the Group 2-winning duo of Stretan Angel (Harry Angel {Ire}) and Stretan Ruler (Wild Ruler).
Of Brulee’s five runners to date, three are winners, including four-time winner Three Rings (Zoustar) who was fourth in the Listed Poseidon Stakes.
The dam of dual juvenile stakes winner Gin Twist (Home Affairs), Twist Tops (Beneteau) was another high-priced mare, realising $90,000 to the bid of Doug Walker. She was offered for sale by Riverstone Lodge.
“I’ve been watching Gin Twist, I was actually hoping she got into the (Golden) Slipper but either way I think she has an exciting future," said Walker. “I’ll go back to Home Affairs with her this season."
Dundeel colt tops racehorse section
Offered by Coolmore, 3-year-old colt Master Of The Air (Dundeel {NZ}) topped the racehorse section of this week’s Inglis Digital sale when selling to Flying Start Syndications for $100,000 on Wednesday. The colt won two starts back to back in the spring over 1200 metres and 1400 metres for Chris Waller, before running sixth in the G3 Gloaming Stakes to Shangri La Boy (Pierro).
“I haven’t decided if he’ll race in Queensland or Victoria yet but I’m very happy, I’ve been following the horse and I really like him,’’ said Flying Start's Cameron Bennett.

“I’ll geld him and give him a good break and then get him into our systems. I love Inglis Digital, it’s a really good platform for syndicators to pick up these types of horses at good value.’’
Master Of The Air is a son of multiple Group winner Don’t Doubt Mamma (Not A Single Doubt), who descends from G1 Queensland Oaks winner and grand producer Joie Denise (Danehill {USA}). A full sister sold to Shane McGrath Bloodstock and Clinton McDonald Racing for $180,000 at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this year.
