Lot 64 – Capitalist x Amalgamate (Zenno Rob Roy {Jpn}), filly – on account of Goodwood Farm
Already carrying plenty of residual value into this sale, Capitalist filly Lot 64 is a half-sister to G3 SAJC Breeders’ Stakes winner Ecumenical (Zebedee {GB}), and Listed Adelaide Guineas-placed Residue (Shooting To Win).
In late March, Lot 64’s 3-year-old half-sister Synthesise (Toronado {Ire}) placed in the Listed Clare Lindop Stakes to become the third stakes horse for Lot 64’s dam, Amalgamate (Zenno Rob Roy {Jpn}).

Amalgamate won four races and she has a 100% winner-getter record as a broodmare. She has a 2-year-old gelding Oakfield Louisiana (St Mark’s Basilica {Fr}) who is yet to race, and her 4-year-old United Legend (So You Think {NZ}) and 5-year-old Think Tank (So You Think {NZ}) are both currently racing having run sixth and fifth, respectively, in their most recent starts this month.
Synthesise, trained by Matthew Seyers at Murray Bridge, was good enough to run fourth in the G3 David Coles AM Stakes on debut at two.
Lot 94 – Bruckner x Champion Parade (Better Than Ready), colt – on account of Widden Stud
This colt by First Season Sire Bruckner had a pedigree boost when promising Victorian juvenile Buggsy (Harry Angel {Ire}) ran third in the Listed Redoute’s Choice Stakes last Saturday. He had won on debut before this addition of black type to his record, and has had just the two starts so far.
Buggsy is out of winning mare Miss Severina (Foxwedge) who is a half-sister to Champion Parade (Better Than Ready), the winning dam of Lot 94. Both Champion Parade and Miss Severina are also half-sisters to G2 Moreton Cup winner Brave Song (Your Song).

On the same day that Buggsy added black type to Lot 94’s page, Sentimental Legend (Brutal {NZ}) won the G2 WA Derby, and he is another member of this colt’s family, as is recently retired Group 1 winning juvenile Cool Archie.
Lot 202 – Anamoe x Profound Wisdom (Al Samer), colt – on account of Riversdale Farm
A half-brother to 3-year-old filly Profoundly (Farnan) who won the G3 Adrian Knox Stakes on the first day of The Championships and ran second in the G1 Australian Oaks on day two, this colt is now a half-brother to two stakes winners.
Already on the page when the catalogue went to print was G3 Chairman’s Stakes winner Sebonack (Capitalist), and now there’s Profoundly who was a dual city winner when the catalogue released.

Profoundly now has three wins from 11 starts with earnings over $470,000, and she’s bred on a similar 3x3 cross to Redoute’s Choice as this colt.
This is a speedy family with dam, Profound Wisdom (Al Samer) winning twice over less than a mile, and she’s a half-sister to G2 Skyline Stakes winner and sire Santos and to Japanese Group 3 winning sprinter Melagrana (Fastnet Rock).
