Looking Ahead highlights runners of interest across Australia and New Zealand. Whether they are an exceptionally well-bred or high-priced runner early in their career chasing maiden success, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse that has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.
On Friday, the action is at Cranbourne, where two 3-year-old fillies from strong families bid to break their maidens.

Tisseyre, 3-year-old filly (Maurice (Jpn) x Miss St Tropez {Magnus})
Trained by Ken and Kasey Keys, 3-year-old Tisseyre (Maurice {Jpn}) has had five starts to date and has placed on two occasions over 1200 metres on her run-up today. She should relish the step up in distance, having run a credible fifth by two and a half lengths over 1500 metres at her last start.

Tisseyre is a half-sister to Group 3 winners Scheelite (Written Tycoon) and Althoff (Real Impact {Jpn}), who are two of six winners from seven to race out of Miss St Tropez (Magnus). Miss St Tropez is a half-sister to multiple Group winner Don't Doubt Mamma (Not A Single Doubt) and Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes winner Risen From Doubt (Not A Single Doubt). The family traces from grand producer Joie Denise (Danehill {USA}).
Since producing Tisseyre, Miss St Tropez has foaled a yearling Admire Mars (Jpn) colt and a weanling Hitotsu filly. She visited Hawaii Five Oh in 2025.
Ken Keys Racing purchased Tisseyre for $80,000 from Arrowfield Stud's Inglis Classic Yearling Sale draft in 2024, and purchased her Admire Mars half-brother for $120,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale this year.
Cranbourne, Race 3, 6:15pm AEDT, Bunyip Equipment Maiden Plate, $45,000, 1200m
Astiquer, 3-year-old filly (Capitalist x Nettoyer {Sebring})
Lindsay Park will unleash the 3-year-old Astiquer (Capitalist) at Cranbourne's evening racing on Friday off the back of two official jump-outs, where she was the winner in the most recent one. She gets the services of Luke Currie in her debut after apprentice Jackson Radley has guided her through her jump-outs.

Astiquer is the first foal out of dual Group 1 winner Nettoyer (Sebring), whose dam Cleanup (Dehere {USA}) is a winning half-sister to multiple stakes winner She's Clean (Redoute's Choice), dam of G2 The Ingham winner and $2.5 million earner Robusto (Churchill {Ire}). Other stakes performers in the family include Listed winner Slipper Island (No Nay Never {USA}) and Group-performed Notorious One (Animal Kingdom {USA}).
Nettoyer has produced a Snitzel yearling colt since foaling Astiquer, but has been unlucky to miss and slip both of the seasons since.
Astiquer passed in at the sales, and is trained by a syndicate including Trilogy Racing, Newgate Bloodstock, and Hollymount Stud.
