Aquis Farm in Queensland have announced a tighter roster in 2026 with four stallions, all priced at a similar sector of the market. With Jonker already announced as moving to Eureka Stud to fill the gap left by his sire Spirit Of Boom, Aquis Farm will stand proven sire Kobayashi, and three young horses, Prost, Stronger, and Officiating (USA).
“We understand the challenges breeders are facing and have structured our 2026 roster to offer genuine value and realistic opportunities,” Aquis Director of Sales Jonathan Davies said.

There has been much chat about the difficulties facing breeders in the middle of the market, and Aquis Farm’s fees reflect that with Prost and Kobayashi priced at $9900 including GST while Stronger and Officiating have been announced at $8800 including GST.
“Each stallion on our roster presents his own opportunity this season, whether through emerging runners, growing racetrack momentum, strong foundations at stud or outstanding value at the current fee. We’re proud to continue working with breeders through competitive fees and a practical approach to the season.”

Prost heads into second season
With the final crop of Snitzel now weanlings, and the much-missed stallion continuing with excellent results on the track, there should be a bigger excitement in the marketplace for well-credentialed sons of the great horse. With proven sire sons like Shamus Award, Russian Revolution, Sword Of State and Trapeze Artist, Snitzel still has the likes of Switzerland and Shinzo to come through.
Prost will stand his second season at a slightly reduced fee of $9900 including GST in 2026, having covered 68 mares in 2025 at $13,200 including GST. With a regally bred pedigree, and a physique that saw him make $650,000 as a yearling, Prost did it on the track too.
He debuted for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable in the G3 Breeders’ Plate as a September juvenile, running third to Espionage (Zoustar) and Straight Charge (Written By). Espionage would add the G3 Kindergarten Stakes that autumn, while Straight Charge won the G2 Silver Slipper.

Of the trifecta, Prost came out next start and won the G3 Canonbury Stakes and was second to boom juvenile Storm Boy in the G2 Skyline Stakes. Back as a spring 3-year-old Prost won the G2 Callender-Presnell Stakes over a mile to take his earnings over $830,000.
With early speed and the ability to train on, Prost has plenty of the attributes that work perfectly with Queensland’s QTIS system. He is bred for this region too with his dam, Samarmeteors (Northern Meteor) being a juvenile winning half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Samaready (More Than Ready). Samaready has been an outstanding broodmare, leaving G1 Golden Slipper winner Shinzo and his full sister Exhilarates who won five stakes races including the R.Listed Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
Another half-sister to Prost’s dam is G2 Karrakatta Plate victrix Night War (General Nediym) while this family also includes G1 JJ Atkins Plate winner Almalad (Al Maher).
Proven value with Kobayashi
Queensland Champion 2YO Sire Kobayashi will stand in 2026 for $9900 including GST. He covered 79 mares at $13,200 in 2025. He began his career at $4400 including GST and has slowly increased due to his results on the track.
Sire of three tough stakes winners, Kobayashi’s stock are tough with over three wins on average per winners. Mishani Lily won the Listed Dalrello Stakes and trained on to a career tally of six wins, while dual stakes winner Midnight In Tokyo has notched up seven victories. Midnight In Tokyo was fifth last start in the Listed Australian Turf Club Trophy at the Gold Coast last weekend. Listed winner Marble Nine also has seven wins on the board and was most recently sighted in last week’s Listed Wangoom Handicap.

A son of I Am Invincible, Kobayashi’s smallest crop are his current juveniles, while he enjoyed a big boost the following year and has a strong crop of yearlings and weanlings coming through. A half-brother to G3 HKJC Premier Cup victor Copartner Prance (Epaulette), Kobayashi is yet to have a runner in Hong Kong but his stock would likely suit the region.
Stronger heads into fourth season
Buyers and breeders targeting the Hong Kong market and wanting to tap into the same sireline as the unfathomable Extreme Choice can do so with Group 1 winner Stronger. He heads into his fourth season in 2026 at a fee of $8800 including GST, the same fee he stood for in 2025 where he covered 93 mares.
His first crop of yearlings sold up to $100,000 with 37 youngsters finding new homes with his Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling graduates averaging $65,000.
Stronger | Standing at Aquis Farm
Like Extreme Choice, Stronger is a son of Not A Single Doubt. Stronger won the G3 Ken Russell Memorial Classic in his three wins at two, training on to win the G1 Centenary Sprint Cup in Hong Kong as an older horse. All up, he won six times with earnings over $3 million, and proved to be a tough competitor on the track over several seasons.
Stronger is a half-brother to triple Group 1 winner Lady Shenandoah (Snitzel) who has earnings over $4.3 million and counting.
Officiating continues to be popular
Bringing the Blame (USA) line to Queensland is his son Officiating (USA) and this sireline has made the news lately thanks to Blame’s daughter Ms Bad Behavior (Can) who has produced Group 1 winner Switzerland and recent G3 Ken Russell Memorial Classic winner St Gotthard.
Officiating has been popular in his first two seasons, covering 111 mares in 2024 and 104 in 2025. He remains at the same fee of $8800 including GST in 2026.
Officiating (USA) | Standing at Aquis Farm
A Grade 3 winner at three and four over sprint trips, Officiating brings strong outcrossed lines to Queensland and should work effectively with the likes of Danehill (USA) who dominates the broodmare band across Australia, given how well the Snitzel / Blame cross has worked with Switzerland and St Gotthard.
Breeders will get their first look at his first crop at the upcoming Magic Millions National Weanling Sale where he has nine foals entered.
