Soundwave (NZ), 3-year-old gelding (Contributer (Ire) x Melodious (NZ) {Darci Brahma {NZ}})
The Emma-Lee and David Browne-trained Soundwave (NZ) (Contributer {Ire}) chases maiden success at Hamilton on Tuesday, in which will be his first run in Australia after placing twice from three runs in New Zealand.
He has prepared for this run with two recent jump-outs at Pakenham and looks ready to go first-up.

Soundwave is out of the placed Darci Brahma (NZ) mare Melodious (NZ), she is a full-sister to the three-time winner and Group 3 and Listed-placed Quattro Quinta (NZ) (Darci Brahma {NZ}).
Soundwave’s third dam is Everswindell (NZ) (Align), she was a classy mare winning the Group 2 New Zealand Cup and placing at Group 1 level twice.
Melodious in recent times, has left a yearling colt by Profondo, and was served by Armory (Ire) last spring.
Soundwave was passed in short of his NZ$30,000 reserve at the 2024 New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale Book 2.

Dreck, 3-year-old gelding (Dirty Work x Little Things {High Chaparral {Ire}})
The Symon Wilde-trained 3-year-old Dreck (Dirty Work) chases maiden success at start number four at Hamilton on Tuesday. He looks a great chance on the back of his eye-catching third at Warrnambool on May 5 behind Singles Moment (Doubtland).

Dreck is the last foal out of Little Things (High Chaparral {Ire}), who has left the five-time winner Spare Coin (Rich Enuff). Little Things has a strong pedigree being a half-sister to the Group 2, Group 3 and Listed winner Ringerdingding and the stakes-placed Salome (Unencumbered)
Dreck was purchased for $32,500 by Wilde Racing Pty Ltd from the Ponderosa Park draft at the 2023 Inglis Great Southern Sale.
