Baciami, 2-year-old gelding (Castelvecchio x Love Me Quietly {Trusting})
The Toby Edmonds-trained Baciami (Castelvecchio) chases maiden success at the Sunshine Coast Poly Track at start number four on Friday. He has been consistent in his career so far placing twice from his three starts, including a strong third at Eagle Farm behind Kickup Rocky (Better Than Ready) earlier this month.
Baciami is out of the three-time winner Love Me Quietly (Trusting), making him a half-brother to the G1 Australasian Oaks winner Panova (Trapeze Artist) who has also won at Group 3 and Listed level.

Baciami’s third dam is the classy mare Niagara Falls (Danehill {USA}), she was a Group 3 winner and was Group 1 placed in the Australasian Oaks, the same race her relation Panova won.
Love Me Quietly, since producing Baciami, has left a yearling filly by The Autumn Sun, a weanling colt by Ozzmosis, and was served by Trapeze Artist last spring.
Baciami was purchased for $90,000 by Lucky Clover Thoroughbreds from the Kenmore Lodge draft at the 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale Book 2.

Glory Of Love, 3-year-old filly (Snitzel x Loving Gaby {I Am Invincible})
The promising and very well bred Glory Of Love (Snitzel), is set to make her second start over 1300 metres for trainer Lloyd Kennewell at Bendigo on Friday.

Glory Of Love is by Snitzel and is the second foal out of the outstanding I Am Invincible mare Loving Gaby, who was a four-time winner on the track but significantly all were at stakes level, two of these were at Group 1 level and both at Moonee Valley including the G1 Manikato Stakes and the G1 William Reid Stakes.
Just Like Gaby’s pedigree also has plenty of depth to it, other stakes-performers that feature include Maastricht (NZ) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}), Cat Shmea (NZ) (Felix The Cat {USA}), Velocitea (NZ) (Volksraad {GB}), Weaponry (NZ) (Declaration Of War {USA}), Limehills (Redoute’s Choice) and Orange County (NZ) (Volksraad {GB}).
Since producing Glory Of Love, Loving Gaby has left a yearling colt by Snitzel and a Wootoon Bassett (GB) weanling colt before she sadly died in November last year.
Glory Of Love was purchased for $400,000 by Kennewell Racing and Group 1 Bloodstock (FBAA) from the Coolmore Stud draft at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
