Mountjoy, 2-year-old filly (Street Boss (USA) x Lorne {Redoute’s Choice})
The Henry Dwyer-trained Mountjoy (Street Boss {USA}) chases maiden success in the Elvstroem Classic at Swan Hill on Friday on the back of running a strong third at Ballarat behind Angelic Rose (Harry Angel {Ire}) on debut last month.
Mountjoy is the second foal out of Lorne (Redoute’s Choice) who was a winner over 1100 metres. She is a half-sister to the five-time winner and Listed-placed Able Willie (Written Tycoon).

Mountjoy comes from the extended family of the Hong Kong superstar Fairy King Prawn (Danehill {USA}), the Group 2 winner and sire Easy Rocking and the Group 1 winning mare Cosmic Endeavour (Northern Meteor).
Lorne, in recent years, has produced a yearling filly by Dundeel (NZ), a weanling colt by Capitalist and was served again by Capitalist last spring.
Mountjoy was purchased for NZ$150,000 by Henry Dwyer from the Rich Hill Stud draft at the 2025 New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale.

Sable Coat, 2-year-old filly (Stay Inside x Barguzin {Exceed And Excel})
The Annabel and Rob Archibald-trained Sable Coat (Stay Inside) makes her debut at Dubbo on Friday on the back of two educational trials.
Sable Coat is the second, and last foal out of Barguzin (Exceed And Excel) who was placed on the track. She is well-bred being a three-quarter-sister to the dual Group 3 winner and sire Safeguard.

This is also the family of the Group 1 winner Preserve (Canny Lad), the G1 Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi (Sidestep) and the Group 1 winner and sire Denman.
Sable Coast was passed in short of her $40,000 reserve at the 2025 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
