State Secret, 3-year-old gelding (Russian Revolution x Street Secret (USA) {Street Cry {Ire}})
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained 3-year-old gelding State Secret (Russian Revolution) chases maiden success at start number four at Hawkesbury on Tuesday.
He has been consistent in his career so far, placing in two of his three starts, including a solid on-pace effort for second at Wyong, resuming earlier this month.
State Secret is the last foal out of the American Listed winner Street Secret (USA) (Street Cry {Ire}), she has been a solid producer, leaving four winners, with the best of them clearly being Frankely Awesome (Frankel {GB}) who won the Listed WJ McKell Cup and was placed in both the G1 Australian Oaks and the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes.

State Secret’s third dam Anzille (USA) (Plugged Nickle {USA}) is a half-sister to the great Urban Sea (USA) (Miswaki {USA}) who won the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and then went onto leave the superstar race horses and stallions Galileo (Ire) and Sea The Stars (Ire).
State Secret was purchased for $260,000 by Kurrinda Bloodstock and Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott from the Segenhoe Stud draft at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Internal Affairs, 2-year-old colt (Home Affairs x Kononkop (Arg) {Pure Prize {USA}})
Internal Affairs (Home Affairs) is set to have his third start at Hawkesbury over 1000 metres for trainer Brad Widdup on Tuesday. Last preparation his form was very strong, he ran fourth on debut at Rosehill behind Fireball (Snitzel) and then he ran second in the R. Listed Inglis Nursery behind Where’s The Circus (Trapeze Artist).
He has since had a good break and he has built his fitness with two trials at Rosehill and looks ready to roll in a fresh state.
His dam is Kononkop (Arg) (Pure Prize {USA}) who was a Champion 2-year-old filly in Argentina, and was a four-time winner including twice at Group 1 level.

Kononkop is a half-sister to Koller (Arg) (Orpen {USA}) who was a three-time Group 2 winner in Argentina, and she is out of Korea (USA) (Southern Halo {USA}) who won four times, including at Listed level in Argentina.
Since producing Internal Affairs, Kononkop has produced a yearling colt by Home Affairs, and was served by City Of Troy (USA) last September after missing to Tassort the season before.
Internal Affairs was purchased for $440,000 by Mulberry Racing from the Morning Rise Stud draft at the 2025 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
