Mistressof Mayfair, 2-year-old filly (Churchill (Ire) x Tanzanita (Fr) {Sea The Stars {Ire}})
The Matt Laurie-trained 2-year-old filly Mistressof Mayfair (Churchill {Ire}) makes her debut at Moe on Tuesday after looking smart at the jump-outs in recent times.
Mistressof Mayfair is the second foal out of the unraced Sea The Stars (Ire) mare Tanzanita (Fr}). The family is a bit quiet up close but the extended family is very strong.

Mistressof Mayfair's fourth dam is the Group 1 winner Rafha (GB) (Kris {GB}) who is famously the dam of the outstanding Invincible Spirit (GB), a Group 1-winning sprinter and very successful sire, well known for being the sire of I Am Invincible.
Other outstanding family members include the three-time Group 1-winning international superstar and stallion Mishriff (Ire) and the Group 2-winning sire Gustav Klimt (Ire).

Kadesh, 3-year-old filly (Toronado (Ire) x Karmic (NZ) {Rip Van Winkle {Ire}})
The consistent Cindy Alderson-trained Kadesh (Toronado {Ire}) chases maiden success at Moe on Tuesday at start number five. The Toronado (Ire) filly will be making her first start for Cindy Alderson having previously been trained by Team Hayes, and she has trialled nicely twice in preparation for her resuming run.
Kadesh is out of Karmic (NZ) (Rip Van Winkle {Ire}) who was a winner over 1400 metres, Karmic is well-related being a half-sister to the Group 1 winner Zabrasive (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}) and being out of the Listed winner and Group 1-placed Danasia (Danehill {USA}).

Further back this is the family of the Group 1 winner Cheeky Choice (Redoute’s Choice) and the classy Group 3 winner and Group 1-placed Scratchy Bottom (Sebring).
Karmic, in recent times has left a 2-year-old filly by Toronado, a weanling filly by Rubick and is due to foal to Lofty Strike in early September.
Kadesh was purchased for $100,000 by Beamish Bloodstock from the Stonehouse Thoroughbreds draft at the 2024 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
