The talented Group 2-winning and Group 1-placed mare Arctic Glamour (Frosted {USA}) topped the sale, selling for $640,000 to the combined bid of Bangaloe Stud and Widden Stud.
Monegal (Lope De Vega {Ire}) in-foal to the exciting Stay Inside sold to Sheralee Racing for $260,000 after being offered by Clarke Bloodstock (As Agent).
Vinery Stud purchased the smart West Australian mare Madhi Girl (Winning Rupert) for $215,000 after being offered by Simon Miller Racing (As Agent).
A 5% share in the exciting Home Affairs 2-year-old colt Marffiano sold to Alanvale for $27,500, valuing the progressive type at $550,000.
In total the sale grossed $4,295,850 and there was a total of 11 Lots that sold for at least $100,000 or more.
Familiar partnership strikes again with Arctic Glamour
The successful partnership of Julia Ritchie's Bangaloe Stud and Widden Stud, who combined to purchase Coeur Volante (NZ) (Proisir) for $500,000 from the 2025 Inglis Spring Boutique Online Sale before the classy mare has since won three races for her new owners before a planned date with Zoustar this spring, teamed up once again to secure the well-performed Arctic Glamour (Frosted {USA}) for $640,000.
Arctic Glamour is a three-time winner who has earned more than $1 million in prizemoney. Her victories include the G2 Hot Danish Stakes and the Listed Reginald Allen Handicap, while she was also placed in the G1 Coolmore Classic, four Group 2 contests and at Group 3 level.

Julia Ritchie said she was first alerted to Arctic Glamour’s sale when she logged into her computer on Saturday morning.
“I received the ad that your marketing team sent out and she piqued my interest straight away and I thought that she’s a mare I need to look at and within 24 hours Antony (Thompson) messaged me asking if I had looked into her, so great minds think alike,’’ Ritchie said.

“Today it was touch and go, we were terrified who we might be up against and we really only had $600,000 for her. We held the bid at that amount and then with 10 seconds to go another bid came through at $620,000 so we decided to have one more bid but we were out if the other party went again but thankfully they didn’t.
“Zoustar will be a great match for her. You watch her race history and she’s got an engine in there, she’s been very competitive at G1 level which is what you like to see and I think she’ll make a beautiful broodmare.’’

The daughter of Frosted (USA) is one of five winners from the placed Galileo (Ire) mare Fartoo Flashy. She has already produced the Group 3 winner Waging War (Rebel Raider) and has a 2-year-old named Fartoo Frisky (Admire Mars {Jpn}), who has had one start, as well as a yearling filly by Dalasan and a weanling filly by State Of Rest (Ire).
Monegal heads to Sheralee Racing
Group 3 winner Monegal (Lope de Vega {Ire}) will continue her broodmare career with Sheralee Racing after being secured for $260,000.
Adding to her appeal was the fact she was offered in foal to the promising Stay Inside, who has made an impressive start at stud with four stakes winners Incognito, Blue Door, Lassified and The Machine Gun from his first crop of 2-year-olds.

Monegal is out of Sublissime (Ire) (Rock Of Gibraltar {Ire}), a half-sister to German and Italian Group 1 winner Morshdi I (GB), who was also placed in the G1 Irish Derby.
Her first foal, a colt by Wootton Bassett (GB), sold for $400,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and has since been placed in Japan. She also has a weanling filly by Stay Inside, who is expected to head through the sales ring in 2027.
Monegal was offered by Clarke Bloodstock as agent for Ridgmont.
Ridgmont’s Mitch Cunningham described the result as “fabulous’’.
“She made well above her reserve,’’ Cunningham said.

Vinery adds speed to their broodmare band with Madhi Girl
Speed remains one of the most sought-after commodities in the Australian broodmare market, and Madhi Girl (Winning Rupert) offers plenty of it.
The six-time winner, whose victories all came over distances up to 1000 metres, claimed the Listed Summer Scorcher and was also placed in the Listed Magic Millions WA 2YO Classic.

That speed was enough to convince Vinery Stud to secure the 4-year-old mare for $215,000 after she was offered by Simon Miller Racing (as agent for the owner).
Madhi Girl is out of the 2-year-old winner Very Angry Gal (Gingerbread Man), a half-sister to Listed winner Profit Street (Viscount), while G1 South Australian Derby and G1 Australasian Oaks winner Delicacy (Al Maher) also features prominently in the pedigree.
Marffiano share attracts strong interest
A 5% share in the exciting Marffiano (Home Affairs) sold for $27,500 to Alanvale, valuing the promising rising 3-year-old at approximately $550,000.
Prepared by Team Hayes, Marffiano enjoyed an impressive 2-year-old campaign, winning the $250,000 VOBIS Gold Rush before finishing second in the Listed Oxlade Stakes.
The colt boasts an outstanding pedigree and, should he continue to progress, could develop into a stallion prospect as a son of exciting first-season champion sire Home Affairs.

Marffiano is the second foal of the eight-time winner and Group 3-performed Miss Iano (Equiano {Fr}), who is out of a half-sister to Listed Belle Of The Turf Stakes winner Hidden Wonder (Danzero), from the family of G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Kenwood Melody (Royal Academy {USA}).
Miss Iano's only other runner is the Group 2 and dual Group 3 winner Tycoon Star (Written Tycoon), who was also placed in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes as a 2-year-old.
More recently, Miss Iano produced a yearling colt by Written Tycoon, with Ciaron Maher paying $1.3 million for him at this year's Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale. She was also covered by the Yulong resident to Northern Hemisphere time earlier this year.
