The 11-year-old mare Sminky Shorts (Snitzel) topped the sale with Three Bridges Farm paying $365,000 for the mare in foal to Anamoe.
In total 26 horses were sold as part of the Forest View Farm (Unreserved Dispersal Sale). Sminky Shorts topped the draft and the total aggregate was $1,552,400, with Western Lady (Toronado {Ire}) and Avolonte (Star Turn) also prominent selling for $265,000 and $175,000 respectively.
This Magic Millions Digital Sale was the first time the sale has broke through the $2 million barrier in the sale's short history, with a total gross of $2,020,250.
The consistent just turned 4-year-old gelding Cansort (Tassort) was purchased by Tobias Chong who picked him up for $120,000.
It was Hall of Fame Bloodstock who picked up the G3 New Zealand Cup winner Bozo (NZ) (Satono Aladdin {Jpn}) for $105,000 out of the Washpool Lodge draft.
Sminky Shorts headlines Forest View Farm dispersal
It was the well-bred 11-year-old Snitzel mare Sminky Shorts that topped the sale, with the dam of the classy seven-time black-type winner, including two Group 2 victories, Super Smink (Super One) selling to Three Bridges Thoroughbreds for $365,000.
Adding to her appeal was the fact Sminky Shorts was offered in foal to Anamoe off a late September service.
Sminky Shorts is a half-sister to city winner and Group 3 placegetter Miss Rockjoy (Awesome Rock), while her dam Most Joyous (Viscount) is a half-sister to Group 1 Railway Stakes winner Covertly (Metal Storm {Fr}), who is the dam of Listed winner Detective (Snitzel).

The family also includes Group 3 winner Crack The Code (I Am Invincible).
"Today was the first time I logged in and bid and it was very easy to use. The platform (Magic Millions Digital) has come a long way in a short period of time," Toby Liston of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds said.
"The Duncans have been very good breeders for a long time and this mare has already produced a good one so let's hope she does it again."
"She's in-foal to Anamoe, a stallion we really like and she'll now go to Yarraman Park this season to be covered by Hellbent."
Another standout offering was the racing and breeding proposition Western Lady (Toronado {Ire}), who sold to Byerley Bloodstock for $265,000.

The four-time winner heads to her new connections after victories at her past two starts in April and boasts a particularly strong pedigree. She is out of Group 2 winner Western Jewel (Jeune {GB}), is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Western Empire (NZ) (Iffraaj {GB}) and Listed winner Western Temple (Dream Ahead {GB}), while also being a full-sister to Listed winner Westbound (Toronado {Ire}).
The six-time winning eight-year-old mare Avolonte (Star Turn) sold for $175,000 to Fénix Racing, Blue Gum Farm and Suman Hedge Bloodstock (FBAA).
The full-sister to R. Listed Inglis Nursery winner Saltaire (Star Turn), and a relation to Group 1 Newmarket Handicap winner Caballus (I Am Invincible), was offered in foal to leading sire Toronado (Ire).

Sminky Shorts was part of the Forest View Farm Unreserved Dispersal, which produced a pleasing result, with 26 lots selling for a combined $1,552,400.
Consistent Cansort attracts $120,000
The promising and consistent, just-turned four-year-old gelding Cansort (Tassort) was purchased by Tobias Chong for $120,000.
Prepared by Chris Waller, the gelding has recorded two wins and three placings from just eight starts. He was an impressive winner at his most recent outing in a Class 1 at Eagle Farm on July 16 and shapes as the type capable of continuing his progression.

Cansort is one of four winners out of the winning Haradasun mare Canossa, who has also produced the gelding's full-sister Good Sort (Tassort), a winner and placegetter in the Listed Reginald Allen Handicap.
Further back, the family traces to the outstanding racemare and influential broodmare Soliloquy (NZ) (Sobig {NZ}).
New Zealand Cup winner changes hands
Group 3 New Zealand Cup winner and Group 1 New Zealand Oaks fourth placegetter Bozo (NZ) (Satono Aladdin {Jpn}) sold to Hall of Fame Bloodstock for $105,000 after being offered by Washpool Lodge.

The six-year-old mare is one of five winners out of the winning High Chaparral (Ire) mare So Ard (NZ) and has won nine races over distances ranging from 1200 metres through to 3200 metres.
So Ard is a half-sister to Group 1 Irish Oaks winner Even So (Ire) (Camelot {GB}) and hails from the family of successful New Zealand stallion Shinko King (Ire).
