Ninja, 4-year-old gelding (Farnan x Impulsive {So You Think {NZ})
“Ninja was very good in The Missile, he seems to have come back a bit bigger and stronger and a bit more mentally mature.
“He went out for a 10-day freshen-up to a farm just outside of Sydney where we give them 10 days on the treadmill and they are out in the paddock during the day and then we'll get him back in.

“The plan with him at this stage, obviously subject to whether he can potentially get a berth in the Everest, is that he will probably head to The Shorts, The Premiere and then into The Everest.
“If he wasn't to get a berth in the Everest, then maybe the Sydney Stakes on the same day which is worth good money is still a nice enough race.”
Apocalyptic, 4-year-old mare (Extreme Choice x Shadow {Medaglia D'Oro {USA})
“Apocalyptic has come back well, she had her last trial last Friday at Rosehill and I have been very happy with both of her trials. The plan with her at this stage is to run first up in the Toy Show on Saturday week, and then we will sort of map a bit of a path from there.
“I prefer to see how they come back before I make any real forward plans, but she is going well.”

Marhoona, 4-year-old mare (Snitzel x Salma {Encosta De Lago})
“Marhoona had a nice break up in Queensland over the winter and she's come back in great order. I was very happy with her trial last Tuesday at Warwick Farm.
“She'll probably trial again next Tuesday at Warwick Farm or the following Friday at Rosehill, and she will at this stage line up on the same day either in Melbourne in the Moir or here in Sydney in the Concorde Stakes so the one or the other.

Soothsayer, 7-year-old gelding (Divine Prophet x Eight Below {Sebring})
“Soothsayer had a really good trial on Tuesday morning at the Gold Coast. He looked good doing it, just sort of within himself.
“He might come down here and have a crack running first up in the Show County on Saturday week here at Randwick.
“He's been a marvel of a horse that's spent so long off the scene with a tendon injury, it’s a huge credit to both the horse and my staff to get him back and going as well as he is."

Flying Destiny, 7-year-old gelding (Flying Artie x Courting Destiny (Ire) {Noverre {USA}})
“Flying Destiny is back in work at the Gold Coast stable. He's probably three or four weeks off a trial. He sort of tends to fit in well now with the summer carnival in Queensland, leading up to the Magic Millions carnival where he can try and pick off a couple of those sprints.”

Sylph, 4-year-old mare (I Am Invincible x Noondie {Flying Spur})
“We have held Sylph back a little bit, she's back in with me here at Randwick and she is probably about three weeks off a trial or maybe two weeks.
“She will hopefully be around for the back end of the spring and potentially into that Queensland summer.”

3-year-olds
Satin Summer, 3-year-old filly (Written Tycoon x Satin Shoes {Flying Spur})
“We have accepted with her in the Quezette Stakes down at Caulfield on Saturday. We probably need to see her draw a nice gate to sort of make the trip down (has drawn 1), otherwise she'd stay here for something. But if she drew well enough we will probably give her a crack at that on Saturday.”

Berzelius, 3-year-old colt (Extreme Choice x Secret Liaison {Artie Schiller {USA}})
"Berzelius is going well, he won the Sires’ in Brisbane as a 2-year-old during the winter carnival. He's come back in good order.
“He will trial again at the end of next week and he will most likely on the 29th of August in either the San Domenico or the Up and Coming Stakes, one or the other.”

Incognito, 3-year-old colt (Stay Inside x Bleu Zebra {I Am Invincible})
“Incognito has been trialling well, he has come back in really good order and my look towards a race like the Moir Stakes, with maybe a run in the Carlyon Stakes before then.”

Castillo King, 3-year-old (Farnan x Boorooj {Exceed And Excel})
“Castillo King has accepted for the Rosebud on Saturday, he is in really good form and should run well. We will make further plans after this weekend."

Celestial Charm, 3-year-old filly (Extreme Choice x I Am A Star (NZ) {I Am Invincible})
“Celestial Charm has taken a little while to come back. She trialled last week and will probably have another trial later next week, then we will look to start her in possibly a benchmark race.
“There are lots of filly options down in Melbourne later in the carnival, so we could always sort of keep her for something like that.”

Outspan, 3-year-old colt (Bivouac x Shannara {Octagonal {NZ}})
“Outspan has been accepted in both the Rosebud here in Sydney on Saturday and the Vain Stakes in Melbourne. We will just have a look at both fields and probably run him in one or the other.
