Inglis have lifted the curtain from the 2026 Inglis Ready2Race Sale catalogue, which is now available to be viewed online. The sale will take place at the Riverside Stables sales complex in Sydney on October 15.

Recent editions of the sale have turned out G1 Winterbottom Stakes winner Libertad, now standing at Blue Gum Farm, dual Group 1 winner Nettoyer (Sebring), and millionaires Democracy Manifest (Russian Revolution), Tavi Time (NZ) (Tavistock {NZ}), and Strait Acer (Headwater), plus Listed Hong Kong Classic Cup Rubylot (Rubick) and Listed Perak Derby winner Guru Fight (Kermadec {NZ}).

“This sale has real momentum and the catalogue is fantastic,” said Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch. “We have been working with vendors for years to build the profile of this sale and the performance of graduates, over the past 12 months in particularly, has been hugely encouraging.

“The Inglis Ready2Race Sale is definitively the best 2YO sale in Australia but the objective is for it to become the best 2YO sale in Australasia and this catalogue is a huge step towards that.”

The 2026 sale will feature a total of 321 lots, prepared by some of the most respected horse people across Australia and New Zealand. Of those, 232 catalogued lots were acquired at auction specifically for this sale, supplemented by a significant group of homebred horses.

“The majority of the catalogue has been sourced at auctions across Australasia specifically for this sale, and I know that our vendors as a group are very bullish about the quality of horse that is being presented for the sale,” Hutch added.

“We are fortunate to have the best consignors supporting this sale again this year, people who are experts in the education and development of young racehorses, and that is reflected in the success of graduates in recent years and in the quality of the horses that people will see on the breeze up days and at the sale itself.”

Buyers will access to the progeny of Champion Sires I Am Invincible, Savabeel, and Zoustar, Champion First Season Sires Home Affairs, Ole Kirk, and Too Darn Hot (GB), plus internationally acclaimed stallions such as Frankel (GB), Gun Runner (USA), Siyouni (Fr), and Wootton Bassett (GB). There will also be a contingent of first crop representation for the likes of Artorius, Anamoe, In The Congo, and Diatonic (Jpn), amongst others.

There are 111 lots out of black-type performers or producers, including siblings to Group 1-winning stallions Private Life and Captivant, G1 Randwick Guineas winner Communist (Russian Revolution) and G1 Tattersalls Tiara victress Tashi (Sebring), plus siblings to Cosmic Force, Lightsaber, King Of Pop (Farnan), Stretan Ruler (Wild Ruler), and Arabian Summer (Too Darn Hot {GB}).

“Buyers were encouraged to participate in this sale last year with a commitment that high-class racehorses would emerge from it, and I’m confident that buyers will find even more high-quality stock at the sale this year,” Hutch said.

“October is a hugely exciting time to be in Sydney, with this sale occurring just two days before the running of the $20 million G1 The Everest.’’

Breeze ups will be held at Warwick Farm (September 25), Taupo (September 28), and Wangaratta (September 29) ahead of the sale and vision of the breezes will be uploaded to the Inglis website and iPad app within 48 hours of each session.

All horses offered at the sale are eligible for the lucrative Inglis Race Series which includes both the $5 million Xtra Bonus Series and the $1 million Pink Bonus Series.
