The exciting Passio (Too Darn Hot {GB}) chases maiden success at start number two at Mornington on Friday for trainers Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr.
He ran a solid second on debut at Sale behind the promising Cignetti (NZ) (Super Seth) over 1400 metres and looks a great chance to go one better on Friday in the hands of Thomas Stockdale.

Passio is out of the dual-winner Sultry Testa (Testa Rossa), who is a half-sister to Smart ‘N’ Sexy (Smart Missile) who was the winner of the Listed Dalrello Stakes in Queensland.
This is also the extended family of the Group-winners Cannonball (Capitalist), Marine One and Eureka Jewel (Semipalatinsk {USA}).
Sultry Testa in recent times has left a 2-year-old filly by Spirit Of Boom and has missed to the same stallion the last two seasons.
Passio was purchased for $180,000 by MG Price Racing & Breeding Pty Ltd from the Eureka Stud draft at the 2025 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

Hierarchy, 3-year-old colt (Dubawi (Ire) x Colette (Ire) {Hallowed Crown})
The beautifully-bred 3-year-old son of Dubawi (Ire), Hierarchy makes his debut at Mornington for owners Godolphin and trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman.
Hierarchy is the first-foal out of the G1 Australian Oaks and G1 Empire Rose Stakes winner Colette (Hallowed Crown), who not only was a star on the track, she has a very strong pedigree.
Dubawi (Ire) | Standing at Darley
Colette is a half-sister to the Listed winner Metastasio (Street Cry {Ire}) who has gone on to leave the triple Group 1-winner Beiwacht (Bivouac) and the Listed winner Gravina (Sebring). Another half-sister is Librettista (Elusive Quality {USA}) who has left the American Listed winner and Group 1-placed Frenzified (GB) (Yeats {Ire}).
Since producing Hierarchy, Colette has produced a 2-year-old colt named Capstone (Exceed And Excel) before she died not long after foaling.
