On Tuesday, we look to Tatura to offer up a pair of 3-year-olds seeking to knock off their maiden wins. A Godolphin homebred hopes to knock it out of the park at start number four and a daughter of I Am Immortal is on debut after two solid hit-outs.

Bordeaux, 3-year-old gelding (Brazen Beau x Aquitaine {Exceed And Excel})
Hopefully fourth time is the charm for Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained Bordeaux (Brazen Beau), who was very sharp at this venue on September 7 when finishing third by three quarters of a length. Given he was still improving through the line over the 1000 metres, an extra 100 metres breathing room looks to suit.

A homebred for Godolphin, Bordeaux is the first foal to race out of Listed winner and Group-performed Aquitaine (Exceed And Excel), a full sister to G3 Star Kingdom Handicap winner Bacchanalia.
This is one of Godolphin's most successful families, with Aquitaine's dam, the Group-performed Thalia (Medaglia D'Oro {USA}), being a half-sister to Calliope (Exceed And Excel), dam of current Blue Army sprint sensation Tempted (Street Boss {USA}). Bordeaux is descended directly from G1 VRC Oaks winner Bulla Borghese (Belong To Me {USA}).
Aquitaine's 2-year-old colt has been named Chartrons (Street Boss {USA}), and she has a yearling colt by Blue Point (Ire) to follow.

I Am Algadon, 3-year-old filly (I Am Immortal x Algadon Miss {Equiano {FR}})
Matt Laurie has given I Am Algadon (I Am Immortal) two solid jump-outs ahead of her debut and while she hasn't been the winner on either occasion, she was second in her most recent hit-out on September 10. She faces a full field of 12 for her debut, but draws barrier two, which should give her a good chance of being in the action.
I Am Algadon is the second foal out of five-time metropolitan winner Algadon Miss (Equiano {Fr}), whose half-brother Prince of Sussex - Lucky Express (HK) (Toronado {Ire}) has been a multiple stakes performer in Hong Kong, earning in excess of HK$12 million (AU$2.18 million) in the process.

Algadon Miss's Listed-winning second dam Diamond Cove (Octagonal {NZ}) has produced three stakes horses led by G2 Guy Walter Stakes winner Hell Hath No Fury (Hellbent) and G3 Summer Cup winner Montauk (More Than Ready {USA}). This is also the close female family of Charge Forward.
Since producing I Am Algadon, Algadon Miss has delivered colts by Wooded (Ire) and Toronado (Ire), the former of which was a $50,000 Inglis Digital yearling purchase for EAA Bloodstock earlier this year. She is currently in foal to Chaldean (GB).
I Am Algadon was also an Inglis Digital purchase for her connections, being purchased for $60,000 by Chris Jackson last January.
