Stakes placed 3-year-old gelding Klocke (Zoustar) was purchased by Good Time Syndicate for $400,000 to top Wednesday’s Inglis Digital November (Early) Sale. Buyer Pato Leung who will aim him at Hong Kong’s lucrative 4-Year-Old Series. Second on debut at two, he was second in the Listed Tattersall’s Stakes at his second start. This season at three, he’s had a second and a fourth.
“We’ll obviously see how he trains up and find the right trainer for him and discuss the future but potentially he’s a very good horse with a very good future we think that will be very good for Hong Kong,” Leung said.
“He could target the 4YO Series if he can get out to a distance. I don’t know if he’s up to a (Hong Kong) Derby but we’ll certainly see how far we can get him.
“(Inglis’ International Business Development Manager) Nicky (Wong) recommended the horse to me, he knows what I want and we’ve already bought several horses on Inglis Digital before, it’s a very good way to buy.”
Tom Magnier and Eric Koh paid $500,000 for him as a yearling from Silverdale Farm’s 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. He’s earned his connections $55,000 on the track. Coolmore Stud has a good record of selling horses through this sale who go on to bigger successes for their new connections.
“We were hoping he’d be a stallion prospect initially, we had big dreams but it didn’t work out and Coolmore were keen to move him on, which was fine, and the easiest way was to put it online with Inglis Digital,” Koh said.
“Today was a very good result. We had interest from Hong Kong before the sale but we chose Inglis Digital and we’re very pleased with how it has all worked out.”

Coolmore has priously sold Group 1 winner Caballus (I Am Invincible), Hong Kong Derby winner Cap Ferat (Snitzel) and Group 3 winner Zarastro (I Am Invincible) via Inglis Digital with all those horses going to the biggest raceday success post-sale.
“We’re really happy with the price,” Coolmore’s Brian McGuire said.
“We fielded a number of enquiries on him, which we always do when selling through Inglis Digital and it’s great to see the buyer being a repeat customer of our Colts Syndicate horses.

Wrote To Arotaki makes her true value
Broodmare prospect Wrote To Arotaki (NZ) (Wrote {Ire}) looks to be a bargain buy for Rollo Thomassi who paid $150,000 for the quality racemare.
“I found it a mind-blowing result and I’ll tell you why,” vendor Sheamus Mills said.
“What I found most interesting is a buyer has parted with $150,000 on this mare – and I believe that was her true value so it’s a totally fair result all round – without contacting the bloke selling it.
“You can put up media assets now – good videos, good photos etc – and basically sell a horse to anyone, from anywhere and I mean that as an absolute compliment to Inglis Digital, it goes to show how good the platform is and how much confidence buyers have in the platform and what is provided on the platform.

“People can basically buy a horse based off what they see in an ad or on a website.”
Winner of seven of her 33 starts with earnings of $930,000, Wrote To Arotaki won the G3 Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes in 2023 and 2026, a race she finished fourth in 2024 and third in 2025. In 2023, she added the G2 Tristarc Stakes, also winning the G3 Frances Tressady Stakes in 2025.
“Most certainly a headline horse for our stable, seven wins from 37 starts and $931,000 in stakes. A Group 2 winner, three times Group 3 winner and also placed at stakes level on another five occasions. Retired sound, a strong mare with good, correct conformation. She has been an easy mare to train with a tenacious attitude which I am sure will throw to her progeny,” trainer Matthew Williams said.
By proven Group 1 sire Wrote (Ire), Wrote To Arotaki is the first stakes winner in five generations but a class mare often is the spark that reignites a pedigree. And her fifth dam, Sparkle ‘N’ Shine (NZ) (Sir Tristram {Ire}) is a full sister to Group 1 winner Tristalove (NZ) from the Eight Carat family.
