Sir Prancealot to shuttle to US
Cornerstone Stud's Sir Prancealot (Ire) will shuttle to Rancho San Miguel in California for the 2020 season.
The son of Tamayuz (GB) is about to enter his third season standing at the South Australian stud. He has had considerable success with his early Northern Hemisphere crops from when he stood at Tally Ho Stud in Ireland and was crowned as Champion Freshman Sire in Europe in 2016.
He has had 13 runners for nine winners in the United States with four stakes winners, Group 2 winners Beau Recall (Ire) and Madam Dancealot (Ire).

“The statistics in America were becoming quite freakish so the United States became the next natural home for him in the Northern Hemisphere,” Cornerstone Stud's Sam Hayes said.
“The team at Rancho San Miguel share our excitement regarding Sir Prancealot’s obvious potential and we are most grateful to Adrian Gonzalez from Checkmate Thoroughbreds who made the introduction and helped facilitate the deal.”
Sir Prancealot's first Australian yearlings will hit the sales ring in 2020.
He and the other three stallions on the 2019 roster, Ambidexter, Valentia and Zebedee (GB) will be on show at the Cornerstone Stud stallion parade this Sunday.
Subzero fighting on
Legendary Melbourne Cup winner Subzero (Kala Dancer {GB}) has fought off a bout of colic but is still ill.
A kidney issue has seen the iconic grey transferred to the Bendigo Equine Hospital.
"He's over the colic alright but his kidneys are not real flash," Subzero's owner Graham Salisbury said. "I've got to take him in and keep him on a drip to keep his kidneys flushed."
Subzero is set to turn 31 next week.

Mystic Journey delayed
Star Tasmanian filly Mystic Journey (Needs Further) will not resume in Saturday's G3 Bletchingly S. at Caulfield, with the forecast of a wet track behind trainer Adam Trinder's decision to hold the beginning of her preparation back.
Mystic Journey, the G1 Australian Guineas and All-Star Mile winner, is headed towards the G1 Cox Plate and the Caulfield sprint was pencilled in as her campaign kick-off some time ago.
Mystic Journey will not be resuming this Saturday
But while she won a recent Devonport trial, Trinder is happy to wait and resume her in the G2 PB Lawrence S. over 1400m at Caulfield in three weeks if it means she gets a better track.
She remains a clear favourite for the Cox Plate.
Deep Field nomination to be auctioned
Newgate will auction a 2019 nomination to star second-season stallion Deep Field for charity.
The ATC is hosting a charity event this Friday to raise funds for bloodstock agent and thoroughbred industry identity Brad O'Hare, who is fighting pancreatic cancer.
An auction will be held to help raise funds and the Deep Field stallion syndicate will offer one nomination to the son of Northern Meteor, whose first crop has produced 19 winners already and who will stand at $44,000 (inc GST) in 2019.
Interested parties are asked to contact Newgate General Manager Bruce Slade for more information.

Mighty Boss mourned
Trainer Mick Price has confirmed 2017 Caulfield Guineas winner Mighty Boss (Not A Single Doubt) recently died from a colic related condition.
The stunning 4-year-old chestnut died earlier this month after a battle with the condition, which also recently claimed the life of Group 1 winning filly Sea Of Class (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Ire}).
Owned by Teeley Assets, Mighty Boss caused a massive upset when he won the 2017 G1 Caulfield Guineas for Price and jockey Michael Walker at $101.
He won two of 17 starts an over $1.2 million in prizemoney.

Third win's a Charm
Sansom (NZ) continues to be the poster boy for New Zealand's leading first-season sire Charm Spirit (Ire), collecting a third straight win at Sandown on Wednesday,
The Phillip Stokes trained gelding is the only Australian winner for the Windsor Park stallion but has now taken his record to three wins from five starts.
“He relaxed beautifully and each time he is stepping out he is improving. It’s quite noticeable in his racing,” jockey Ben Allen said.
Stokes was also pleased with the victory and said Sansom is starting to develop into a nice racehorse.
“We have had to do a lot of work with him. He had been doing things upside down,” he said.
Brazen Beau was the other first-season sire to get a winner on Wednesday with Pretty Brazen's success at Murray Bridge taking the Darley stallion to seven winners for the season.
Vibrato on song
Co-trainer Murray Baker believes Vibrato (NZ) (Sacred Falls {NZ}) is well-placed to shine in the final black-type race for the New Zealand season at Otaki on Saturday.
The 2-year-old will contest the Listed Courtesy Ford Ryder Stakes along with 10 rivals and Baker is confident he can revisit his success at Rotorua on June 26.
“He hasn’t raced for a month but we’re happy with him and we think he’s probably improved a bit,” Baker, who trains in partnership with Andrew Forsman, said.
“He had a bit of time off after he won and we’ve just got him going again. It’s a stakes race, so we thought we’d have go.”
