The import was in front 250 metres from home and he stayed on strongly to go one better on his previous effort when runner-up in the Listed Wyong Cup.

Attention Run (Ger) (Hurricane Run {Ire}) raced on the pace all the way and she fought on strongly with her stablemate Our Candidate (Ire) (Camelot {GB}) coming on well from the back for third.

The lightly-tried Rock (Pierro) continued his impressive progress when he produced a powerful finishing run to claim the honours.

The 4-year-old was taken back from a wide gate and he roared from the tail of the field under rider Tommy Berry to win with ease.

Articus (Fr) (Areion {Ger}) showed his previous long odds win at Randwick was no fluke by overcoming a wide run to take second and Nottoyer (Sebring) got out late to dash home for third.

Rock was a $130,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase by Team Hawkes and is a brother to the stakes performer Femme Fireball.

They are out of Subtitle (Fastnet Rock) who is a daughter of the Group 1 winner Credit Account (NZ) (Imposing) and the international family of the Group 2 and multiple Group 3 winner Bishop Of Cashel (GB) (Warning {GB}).

Sweet Deal (Casino Prince) continued her hot run of form to post her most important career success with a stakes victory.

She travelled easily close to the leaders and when Nash Rawiller pushed the button 150 metres from home she responded positively for the seventh win of her career and third from her last four outings.

Notation (Fastnet Rock) and Connemara (Fastnet Rock) are two of the more genuine mares going around and they both added to their consistent records with their respective second and third placings.
