Rider Jason Waddell had Wyndspelle (NZ) (Iffraaj {GB}) tucked away on the fence in a good rhythm before he was able to find clear air before the home turn.
Waddell got to work on the willing 6-year-old and hot the front 200 metres from home and stuck on grimly to take the major prize.
Shadows Cast (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}) pushed him hard, to settle for second and True Enough (NZ) (Nom du Jeu {NZ}) got home well to take third off the favourite Supera (NZ) (Savabeel).

Not An Option (Not A Single Doubt) settled in behind the pace and when the leaders got away halfway down the straight he was no sure thing.
However, he found top gear in the closing 200 metres to win going away and keep his perfect record from two appearances intact.
The front-runner Power “N” Glory (Power {GB}) fought on for second and Unition (Fastnet Rock) raced on the pacemaker’s quarters and boxed on for third.

Showoroses (NZ) (Showcasing {GB}) raced on the speed and stuck on well for second ahead of Famila (NZ) (Makfi {GB}), who poked through a gap late for third.

The race was pretty much turned into a procession as soon as Spurcraft (Jet Spur) cleared the gates to hit the front.
He travelled easily to the turn and kicked clear 300 metres from home and won easing down for his ninth victory from just 14 starts.
Badajoz (Commands) settled at the back and he pinched rails runs to get home for second from Tycoon Ace (Tycoon Ruler), who was in the party all the way.

Rider James Orman settled the Steve Tregea-trained gelding in the back half of the field before winding up powerfully to claim Sir Plush (NZ) (Pins) in the shadows of the post.
The topweight The Candy Man (Casino Prince) raced behind the pace on the fence and he dashed home late for third once he found clear air.

The race was run at good speed and that suited Frangipanni Moon (Spirit Of Boom) she settled off the pace.
Rider Jake Bayliss rode a patient race and when the gaps opened up near the fence in the straight he urged the David Vandyke-trained mare through to post an upset win.
Shalwa (NZ) (O’Reilly {NZ}) gave a great sight in front and he didn’t shirk his task to earn the runner-up cheque and Mewstone Rock (NZ) (Fastnet Rock) steamed home from the tail for third.
