Peltzer (So You Think {NZ}) maintained his perfect record at Randwick as he ran away with the lucrative $1 million Bondi S. on Saturday.
The colt, who is trained by Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou, went straight to the lead and never looked back as he ran away in the straight and won the $1 million feature for 3-year-olds by 2.8l.
Prime Star (Starspangledbanner) gave good chase to finish second while Real Prince (Real Impact {Jpn}) came home another 0.2l away in third.
Ryan had confidence in the colt and credited Tim Clark’s ride for his brilliant win in testing conditions.
“The conditions were in his favour today with the wet track and a bit of rain around,” Ryan said.
“He got a comfortable lead in front. Timmy rated him well and the way he worked Tuesday morning was sensational.
“It just didn’t work out in the Golden Rose but there is plenty of money around in races just off the top. I reckon next year as a 3-year-old, races like the Stradbroke are right up his alley.
“Not many horses win five out of eight. Not many horses win four out of four at Randwick. He keeps up on the speed. He’s just a nice colt.”

Ryan said that is now the spring done for Peltzer and he will head straight to the paddock to be targeted for the autumn.
“He’s had 26 days off since January,” Ryan said. “He’ll go out Monday and he’ll have a nice spell.
“He may improve or hold his own. He’s a horse who could improve. He has a great attitude for a colt and should come back a nice horse in the Autumn.
“There is so much to pick from in the Autumn for good 3-year-olds. It worked for Trapeze Artist. The Stradbroke is a handicap so we'll be patient and place him right.”

Peltzer was purchased by Gerald Ryan Racing and David Raphael for $260,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Mill Park Stud and his win on Saturday brought his career earnings up to $939,040.
He is the fourth foal out of Miss Otto (Elusive Quality {USA}) who herself is a half-sister to the multiple stakes-placed Miss With Attitude (Galileo {Ire}) as well as Listed third Oui Is Attitude (Bianconi {USA}) who is also the dam of Listed Adelaide Guineas winner So We Are (So You Think {NZ}).
Miss Otto has a yearling sister to Peltzer while she is currently back in foal to So You Think (NZ).
