G2 Waikato Guineas, NZ$120,000, 2000m
Loosepender (NZ) added the first stakes win to his record when he landed the G2 Waikato Guineas on Friday and in doing so became Turn Me Loose’s (NZ) sixth stakes winner.
Bought for NZ$60,000 at the 2021 edition of the New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Yearling Sale, the 3-year-old gelding is out of three-time winner Spendaholic (NZ) (No Excuse Needed {GB}).
Further back this is the same family as Listed winner Top Dance (NZ) (Brilliant Invader) and she in turn produced stakes winner Dancing Sculptor (Rancho Ruler).
Turn Me Loose’s progeny is headed by Group 1 winner She’s Licketysplit (NZ).
