OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Based at John O’Shea Racing in Kensington, a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, quick learner to join our team and work in an exciting and fast-growing business has become available.

Staff at O’Shea’s are renowned for their loyalty and great work ethic. From trackwork in the morning to daily grooming, their dedication to bringing out the best in every horse reflects the same level of care that has been the cornerstone of John’s own success over the years.

The Office Administrator role will include assistance with general office duties and accounts-based tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation and end-of-month runs.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:

• Must be able to multitask, problem solve and prioritise

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Intermediate Excel skills

• Knowledge of Xero and/or Ardex highly regarded

• Industry experience would be an advantage

STUD MANAGER

Tyreel Stud is a boutique thoroughbred breeding farm located in the Hawkesbury Valley district of Sydney and a position has become available for a hands-on Stud Manager to join our team. This position would ideally suit someone with experience in a similar role who possesses good communication and organisational skills, is motivated, pays attention to detail, is a team player and has the ability to remain confidential. There are approximately 35 broodmares on the farm.

The role will include:

• Total management of all foals, weanlings, broodmares

• Co-ordination of farriers and vets

• Management of all staff

• Assistance with selecting new stock

• Client updates

An attractive remuneration package including above award salary package and accommodation (three bedroom, newly renovated home) including all services paid for and company vehicle included.
