Final Agreement was purchased by Emirates Park for $400,000 at the 2016 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. Since then, she has produced four winners from four to race, including the retained Enthaar, who claimed two Group 3 victories and a Listed win during her time on the track.
The family has continued to thrive and strengthen since that purchase, and the classy-looking Brave Smash (Jpn) colt appears a likely type to carry the family’s success forward into the future.

Big support and faith in Brave Smash
Brave Smash has started his career well and could be a big improver heading into the future. After initially standing at Aquis Stud, he moved to Yarraman Park Stud in 2023, and he is now preparing to serve his third book of mares since relocating to the Hunter Valley.
A winner of the G1 Manikato Stakes and the G1 Futurity Stakes, the son of Tosen Phantom (Jpn) has sired 58 winners from only 96 runners, producing a notable winners-to-runners ratio of 60%. His early stakes winners include G1 winner Kimochi, G3 winner Brave Mead, and Listed winners Brave Spirit and Brave Design.

“We have got a good interest in Brave Smash, and have supported him with some lovely mares. We are very much focused on trying to find an outcross stallion, and he has started off his career very well.” Carlson said.
“His first crop of yearlings that were conceived at Yarraman will be offered at yearling sales next year, and I don’t know of an ownership group that has been more supportive of a stallion between Yarraman Park, ourselves, Australian Bloodstock and the rest of the ownership.
“We have all supported the stallion heavily and are giving him every chance, which is very exciting.”

A quality colt
The team at Emirates Park is clearly impressed with the recently born Brave Smash colt, offering a major form of vindication for the mating, as they are planning to send Final Agreement (Not A Single Doubt) back to Brave Smash again this season.
“He is a very nice colt and on the back of him, she will probably look to go back to Brave Smash," Carlson said.

“Physically, he is an outstanding looking horse, has a great hind-quarter, good bone, is correct, and he has that x-factor look about him.
“Brave Smash is also Danehill free, Brave Strike is out of a Not A Single Doubt mare, so it is a cross that's worked, and hopefully we can reproduce that.
“I remember Komichi selling as a weanling at the sales, and she ended up a star mare, so hopefully we can breed a few more stakes winners by Brave Smash.”
A great female line
Final Agreement was purchased by Emirates Park for $400,000 from the 2016 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. She hails from a strong and active female family.
She is a full sister to Secret Agenda (Not A Single Doubt), a seven-time winner including the G1 Robert Sangster Stakes, G2 Sapphire Stakes, G3 Gucci Stakes, G3 How Now Stakes, and the Listed Bob Hoysted Handicap.
The pedigree continues to perform at the top level. Close relations include Tutta La Vita (The Autumn Sun), a juvenile winner who is also a three-time Group 1 placegetter who was purchased for $3.2 million by Resolute Racing from the 2024 Inglis Chairman’s Sale, and Stellar Pauline (Not A Single Doubt), a dual winner who has placed in the G2 Sweet Embrace Stakes, G3 Gimcrack Stakes, and the R. Listed Magic Millions 2YO Classic, who was bought for $1.15 million by David Redvers Bloodstock and Widden Stud at this year’s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

Final Agreement has already proven herself as a broodmare, having produced four winners from four to race - including Enthaar (Written Tycoon), who won the G3 Gimcrack Stakes, G3 Chairman’s Stakes, and the Listed Doveton Stakes.
“It is a great female family, we were lucky enough to buy Final Agreement as a broodmare before the family really took off.

“We loved the fact she was a Not A Single Doubt mare, and we actually loved Final Agreement as a yearling, so when she came up for sale, it was enough for us to snatch her up.
“The family has really gone from strength to strength. She produced Enthaar for us early, and hopefully the Brave Smash colt does something for us”
