7. Most talented young person you’ve come across recently?
We have two young ladies, Laura Olive and Chessa Dillon, who work at Peachester Lodge. These two have learned from the ground up and are competent, diligent and responsible. Hopefully, they are going to be an asset to our industry for a long time to come.

8. Redistribute prize money across races, or happy as is?
I would like to see prize money (mainly in New South Wales, I've got to say) distributed more widely. Take a bit off the "pop-up" races and spread that around a bit. Also, I would like to see less of a drop from first to second prize money.
9.Tariff on imported horses - great idea or misguided protectionism?
I'm a bit conflicted on this one. I don't believe in protectionism, but then again, I would like to see Australian breeders have some added incentive to breed more middle-distance horses, but how you do that is a good question.
10. Your best mate in the business?
My best mate in the industry is my husband Graham. He agrees with me when I say I've made a mistake with a mating and always reminds me when the yearling he selected does better than the one I selected.
