Lot 65 – Maurice (Jpn) x Bandol (Snitzel), colt – on account of Kenmore Lodge

This Maurice (Jpn) colt offered by Kenmore Lodge as agent for Arrowfield Stud has received a significant update since the catalogue went to print.

This colt’s half-brother Wolf Gap (Pinatubo {Ire}) won a maiden impressively at Warwick Farm for trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman, then at his next start ran a slashing third last weekend in the G2 Todman Stakes behind Paradoxium (Extreme Choice).

Commercially, Wolf Gap was in high demand at the 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale with the buyers Anthony Freedman, Julian Blaxland Bloodstock, ARJB Racing and De Burgh Equine having to outlay $280,000 to acquire him from the Arrowfield Stud draft.

He looks like a colt that will only continue to boost up the family, that is already strong, with the dam Bandol (Snitzel) having left four foals to race with all of them being winners, including the smart Katsumi Orochi (Maurice {Jpn}) who has been a winner, and placed in the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude (c&g).

Bandol has continued to be bred strongly by Arrowfield Stud, with her currently being in foal to the exciting shuttler Vandeek (GB).

Lot 162 – Spirit Of Boom x Fleet Riane (Barely A Moment), filly – on account of Raheen Stud

Fleet Riane (Spirit Of Boom) has been a wonderfully consistent producer for Basil Nolan and Raheen Stud, having had five foals to race for five winners. The latest update occurring in early February, when the Tony Gollan-trained Quickzou (Zoustar) won his maiden at Eagle Farm in impressive style.

He has since ran a solid fifth behind the classy Fabulantes (Star Turn) in strong 3-year-old company which suggests that there is much more for this gelding to give on the track and to keep producing updates.

This Spirit Of Boom filly has a strong extended family with the Group 1 winners Ofcourseican (Mossman) and Gimmethegreenlight featuring, as well as the Group winners Girl Guide (Churchill Downs), Gregers (Commands), and Persan (Pierro).

Fleet Riane, in recent years, has produced a Spirit Of Boom colt foal, and was served by Widden Stud’s exciting young stallion Jacquinot last spring.

Lot 465 – North Pacific x Tibrogargan Miss (Monashee Mountain {USA}), filly – on account of Glenlogan Park

Glenlogan Park's North Pacific filly already had a strong pedigree when the catalogue was released, she is the fifth foal out of the four-time winner Tibrogargan Miss (Monashee Mountain {USA}), who showed her class when she placed in the G2 Sweet Embrace Stakes.

She has been a good producer for Glenlogan Park, having left two winners as the catalogue went to print, headlined by the nine-time winning sprinter Cubebe Pepper (North Pacific).

Her record improved in late February as Forest King (Tiger Of Malay) become her third winner when winning in impressive style when defeating Euripedes (Street Boss {USA}) in a strong 2-year-old maiden event at Canterbury.

Last spring Tibrogargan Miss was served by Brave Smash (Jpn), so there is more chance for this family to improve into the future, especially with Forest King potentially looking a black-type quality gelding for trainers John O’Shea and Tom Charlton, which would only assist this fillies potential residual value.
