A metropolitan winner as a juvenile and multiple Group 1-performed as a 3-year-old, Tutta La Vita (The Autumn Sun) adds a level of international intrigue in the Inglis Digital April (Early) Online Sale catalogue, which kicks off bidding on Friday, April 10. The 5-year-old is currently based in Kentucky for owners Resolute Racing.
The Inglis Digital platform has offered international lots before, but mostly just across the Tasman in New Zealand. The sale enters a new dimension with an offering in the Northern Hemisphere.
Group 1 form
Under the steerage of Chris Waller, Tutta La Vita ran three times in metropolitan company as a juvenile for two seconds and win at Rosehill, in a race that also produced multiple stakes performer Flying Trapeze (Trapeze Artist). At three, she went straight into stakes company, and was third by just two lengths to Tropical Squall (Prized Icon) and Kimochi (Brave Smash {Jpn}) in the G1 Flight Stakes, before a gallant fourth in the G1 Spring Champion Stakes.
Reloading in the autumn, she was third again at the highest level in the G1 Surround Stakes behind Tropical Squall and Stefi Magnetica (All Too Hard), with nine Group winners filling out the field behind her.
She was beaten just two thirds of a length by champion Kiwi filly Orchestral (NZ) (Savabeel) in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes, beating the likes of Zardozi (Kingman {GB}), Kimochi, and Mare Of Mt Buller (Dundeel {NZ}).

Tutta La Vita’s performances that season led to Timeform rating her as one of the best fillies of her generation, higher than the likes of Learning To Fly (Justify {USA}), Kimochi, Tiz Invincible (I Am Invincible), and Stretan Angel (Harry Angel {Ire}).
She was an Inglis Chairman’s Sale purchase for John and Chelsey Stewart’s Resolute Racing for $3.2 million in 2024 and was sent to the States, where she has raced three times for two second place finishes.
“John and Chelsey Stewart had a number of options as to where and how to offer the mare to market and we’re hugely grateful to them and their team for choosing Inglis Digital,” said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster, who was delighted by the acquisition for the platform.
“There will be few better credentialed mares offered anywhere in the world in 2026.’’ - Mark Webster
“There will be few better credentialed mares offered anywhere in the world in 2026, and the timing of this sale is perfect should a Southern Hemisphere breeder acquire her. There’s still five or six months to get her back to Australia, give her time to reacclimatise and be ready for her maiden cover come spring.”

A special offering
A $300,000 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale purchase for Kevin Kelly from Arrowfield Stud, Tutta La Vita is from the first crop of Arrowfield’s rapidly ascending The Autumn Sun and is out the powerful producer Negotiate (Red Ransom {USA}), herself a daughter of G1 Champagne Stakes victress Euphoria (Marauding).
Negotiate - who shares her second dam Joy And Fun (Showdown {GB}) with the likes of Kementari, Bentley Biscuit (Peintre Celebre {GB}), and Thorn Park - has produced five stakes performers amongst her 12 winners, three of whom are stakes producers at stud as well. Her G1 Robert Sangster Stakes-winning daughter Secret Agenda (Not A Single Doubt) has produced G2 Roman Consul Stakes winner Hidden Motive (Capitalist) and Secret Agenda's full sister Final Agreement is the dam of dual Group 3 winner Enthaar (Written Tycoon).
Joy And Fun is one of five stakes producers out of Denise's Joy (Seventh Hussar {Fr}), including Joie Denise (Danehill {USA}), dam of Sunday Joy (Sunday Silence {USA}) and Tuesday Joy (NZ) (Carnegie {Ire}), and Joie De Vivre (Vain), Bolt Of Lightning (Blazing Saddles), and Clifton Gardens (Mighty Kingdom).

Tutta La Vita's 2-year-old half-brother by Too Darn Hot (GB) was purchased for $480,000 at the 2025 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and sent to the stable of Annabel and Rob Archibald. Last breeding season, her sisters visited stallions such as Zoustar, Growing Empire, and Home Affairs at stud, with foals coming through by I Am Invincible and Brave Smash (Jpn), setting the family up to continue its performance.
“There’s no doubt Tutta La Vita is one of the highest profile and most gorgeous looking mares to ever be offered on the Inglis Digital platform and she will no doubt garner attention from breeders all around the world,’’ Webster said.
“Pedigrees like this are gifts that keep on giving.’’ - Mark Webster
“Pedigrees like this are gifts that keep on giving and given her compatibility with a broad cross section of stallions, her offspring are going to profile well for any major yearling sale in the world.”
The Inglis Digital April (Early) Online Sale is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 10, until April 15. Entries will remain open until Wednesday, April 8.
